paige's pov
after i surprised ana, we ate dinner and headed to her apartment. caitlin lives close to the restaurant so ana just rode with me. "can i connect my phone?" ana asked. "yes ma'am" i reply. she connects her phone and the first song to play was L'AMOUR DE MI VIE by billie. she sang it word word for and as if she wrote the song about me. i couldn't help but to keep looking at her. she's so beautiful
we arrived at her apartment and she led the way obviously because i didn't know my way around. "okay we're hereee. we can do anything you want" ana said. "what is there to do?" i asked. "ummm" she looks around. "we can watch tv, paint, draw, sleep, write, video games, hide and seek OOO HIDE AND SEEK IN THE DARKKK" she said "YES LETS PLAY HIDE AND SEEK IN THE DARK" i said very excited. we walked thru her apartment and turned off all of the lights. there were little "night lights" around the apartment and we kept some on just so we wouldn't trip over stuff.
"okay who's hiding and who's counting first and are there any rules?" i asked. "ummm yes, no going out of the apartment, can't go into olivia's room and no scary stuff. i don't like scary stuff. i can count first, just text me when you're ready" she replied. "okayy go go" i shoo her away into the bathroom where we count and find somewhere to hide.
ana's pov
i know pretty much every hiding spot in this apartment so i think this round should go by pretty fast. i'm sitting on the floor, scrolling thru tiktok and waiting for paige to text me. after 5 minutes she texts me to let me know she's ready and i turn the bathroom light off and go to find her.
i check "plain sight" spots like my bed, under my bed, closet, cabinets, under the table. "paigeeeeee, where ya at girl" i stand in the dark turning my head. i know she can't talk back. ding. i check my phone and see that paige had texted.
i'm still standing in the living room looking around and thinking. if i'm "veeeeery cold" then she would be in the furthest room, which is my room. i go thru each room one more time and look, this time in just creative spots just to be sure. i get back to my room and look.

the only place i haven't checked is the bathroom. but that's where i counted? so how could she- oh. i open the shower curtain and see her sitting in the bathtub with her legs up to her chest, her arms around her legs, face resting on her arms. she looks up at me and says "you found me!!!" with the biggest smile. i walk out of the bathroom. she runs past me, "NOW YOU GOTTA CATCH ME" she yells running out of my room and out of the apartment. i don't think this girl knows i used to run cross country and track..
i chased after her and caught up pretty quick. it was raining outside but that didn't matter to us. she ran across the parking lot, me only a few feet behind her. the longer she ran the slower she got. i finally grabbed onto her shirt, turning her around. us now face to face... literally. if people saw us from a certain angle they'd think we were kissing.
we stood there in the rain looking at each other breathing heavy because we were out of breath. "you're really beautiful analeigh." she said still looking at me, not breaking the eye contact. "thank you gorgeous." i reply.
paige's pov
if i wasn't scared of scaring her away, i'd kiss her right here right now. "uhm" she said clearing her throat backing up. fuck. "we're getting soaked, let's go in and shower." she said reaching for my hand. i give her my hand and we walk back up.
"you can shower first" she says leading me to the bathroom. "are you sure?" i ask. "yes, i take long showers." she replied handing me a towel. i got my clothes out of my bag and went to shower. i really couldn't help but to think about earlier. what if this ruins everything?

ana's pov
after we get out of the shower we decide to lay down and watch tv. i had to tell olivia but i didn't want to bother her so i just sat there with the thought. "i'm sleepy." i said. "go to sleep then baby." she replied. "BABY????" i got up and smiled. "oh um i'm sorry i didn't mean t-" she started apologizing. "no no no it's okay. that was cute" i smiled laying back down. "okay hun." she said wrapping her arms around me. that was probably the cutest thing.
