hey i'm out by the pool

okay. let me mentally prepare myself.

"hey!" i hear a voice as i turn around from admiring the ocean. i thought it was cool to have a pool out by the actual ocean. "oh hii" i say back. "how are you?" she asks "i'm good how are you hun?" i ask back. "that's good to hear, i'm good" she replies. we sit down putting our feet in the water. "your name is ana right?" she asks me "yes, it's short for analeigh!" i tell her "aww that's a pretty name" she responds. "well thank you, paige is a pretty name" i say "thank you love" i got butterflies in my stomach. that's such a cute nickname.

"you wanna get in?" paige asks. "in the pool? i don't have a bathing suit on silly" i laugh "well neither do i, but we have shorts and bras on, if you don't want to that's fine. it was just a suggestion" she says. "no no we can, i'm just um.. nervous." i say looking away "don't be honey" paige says in such a soft voice.

we take our shirts off and lay them by the pool and get in. "so you like billie eilish?" paige asks trying to start a conversation. "yes oh my gosh. i've been in love with her since i was 15" i start to go on a whole rant about her "she honestly saved my life. i love her more than words can explain. i'd do anything to
be able to go to a concert." i finish my sentence looking at paige. she's looking at me in awe. her eyes are so beautiful and the blue lights coming from the pool are making her look way too good.

we talk for about an hour until we decide to go back to our rooms and go to sleep. "i'll walk you to your room if that's okay?" she asks "mmmm do you wanna walk me to my room or do you just want to see where i'm sleeping?" i say joking. "aw man, you got me" she says back winking at me. we continue a little conversation and before i know it we're at my room. "bye paige, i'll see you soon" i say upset about the fact that i can't just go to sleep with her. "bye ana. i'll text you in the morning okay? sleep well beautiful" she says pulling me into a hug.

i got into my room and saw that olivia was already asleep so i turned on a lamp and quietly got changed. into some dry clothes. i plugged my phone up, and saw that paige had texted.
