As Jellal advances toward Erza, his eyes glowing with malicious intent, Y/N steps in front of her and Natsu, raising a hand to create a shimmering barrier of light.
Y/N: "You won't lay a finger on them, Jellal."
The barrier gleams brightly, casting an ethereal glow that surrounds Y/N, Erza, and Natsu. Jellal pauses, a smirk playing on his lips.
Jellal: "You think you can stop me? You're deluding yourself, Y/N."
Without hesitation, Jellal fires a barrage of dark orbs at the barrier. Y/N braces himself, reinforcing the barrier with a wave of his hand, each orb dissipating upon contact with the radiant shield.
Y/N: "I may not be as strong as Natsu or Erza, but I won't let you hurt them."
Jellal's eyes narrow, and with a flick of his wrist, he summons a stream of dark tendrils to ensnare Y/N. In response, Y/N manipulates the light barrier, shaping it into a series of sharp blades that slice through the tendrils. Y/N then counters with a volley of light spears, forcing Jellal to dodge and deflect.
The fight intensifies, with Y/N skillfully using his Light Magic both defensively and offensively. He conjures constructs of light—walls, shields, and even swords—using them to block, parry, and strike. For a moment, it seems as though Y/N might hold his ground against Jellal.
Jellal, however, grows increasingly annoyed, his expression hardening. He leaps back, gathering energy around him.
Jellal: "Impressive... but not enough. Meteor!"
With blinding speed, Jellal launches himself at Y/N, cloaked in a streak of golden light. The sudden acceleration catches Y/N off guard. He raises a light shield just in time, but the impact shatters it, sending Y/N skidding backward.
Y/N: "He's too fast..."
Before Y/N can fully recover, Jellal is upon him again, delivering a series of rapid strikes. Y/N tries to counter with light constructs, but Jellal's speed and relentless assault begin to overwhelm him. Each hit pushes Y/N further back, his defenses faltering.
Jellal: "You had a chance, Y/N. If only you could fight back with more than just defense. But you're too weak, too afraid to truly use your power."
As Jellal's relentless assault continues, Y/N struggles to keep up. The dark energy swirling around Jellal seems almost palpable, and Y/N's light constructs are becoming less effective against the onslaught. Jellal's attacks are brutal and precise, throwing Y/N off balance with every blow.
Jellal: "You see, Y/N, this is the difference between us. You try to shield and protect, but you lack the strength to strike back. You're not even a worthy opponent."
Jellal slams a powerful fist into Y/N's midsection, sending him crashing into a wall. The impact sends debris flying, and Y/N's barrier flickers weakly before collapsing entirely. Y/N tries to rise, but Jellal is already on him, grabbing him by the collar and lifting him effortlessly off the ground.
Y/N: "Ugh... this... can't be..."
Jellal: "What a shame. You could have been a replacement sacrifice for Erza, but you're just not up to the task."
With a contemptuous sneer, Jellal hurls Y/N across the room, smashing him into another wall. The tower trembles under the force of the impact, and Y/N slumps to the ground, bloodied and disoriented. He attempts to summon a light barrier, but his movements are sluggish, his energy almost depleted.
