In Texas, the only thing you could ever truly be sure of was the heat. The dainty property the Sawyer's owned lacked any fans or air conditioner and you always seemed to be overheated. Whilst helping around outside, you couldn't handle the heat much longer. The buzzing of the insects, the faint screams of victims and the dirt that covered you head to toe.

You've grown adapted to this way of life but sometimes you can't help but think back to what things used to be like.. The cool breeze of the ocean hugging your body like a fresh blanket, the enticing greenery that seemed to go on for miles, and the gentle family who held you so dear. You would've never given such a life up if it wasn't for him; for Bubba.

You hated everyone else who crowded up the Sawyer home. They were just filthy cannibals to you but Bubba was different. He was sweet and gentle despite his inability to speak, he always made you feel loved in ways nobody else could. You would be lying if you said you hadn't met others before him, let alone say that there were only a few.

On the contrary, you'd be telling nothing but the truth if you said Bubba was the best you'd ever had. It wasn't just about how loving and gentle he was despite his large size and scary demeanor, it was more than that. It was the way he waited until you woke up despite his work nagging in the back of his mind, it was the way he went against the only family he had ever known to adamantly defend you from their cruel comments and horrible games, it was him as a whole.

The ache you felt within your chest when you saw him that fateful day, nothing could ever get you higher. You surely thought about the past but not for a second did you truly regret it. At the end of the day when the sun sets, the gentle creak of the wooden door opening as Bubba finally came in from a hard day of work was like opening a surprise bag each time. His heavy footsteps trodding upon the rotten wood made your heart flutter and excitement flew through your veins.

Times like those which never failed to disappoint were what kept you going. It made the feeling of regret melt off of you like it never existed in the first place.

As you stood there wrapped within your thoughts and drowning in the heat, Bubba took notice with a hint of worry lacing his incoming steps. His calloused hand which was much bigger than your shoulder gently pressed your skin and the moment you felt his skin on yours, you knew who it was. You turned around to his surprise, a smile forming immediately.

Bubba was always scared. Scared you would see him for what he truly was, what he thought he was. That you'd no longer love a monster such as him, words his family had embedded in his mind. When he saw you so out of it, it made him think you were worrying with a mind laced with regret. He would never force you to stay but your absence would ruin him. He would never let you know such a thing, he knew better than anyone what his family was like and how hard it was to live with them.

When you turned around and he got to see your beautiful smile light up his messy head, he couldn't help but feel thankful as all his thoughts dispersed. He often wondered how he managed to find someone such as you and how you could possibly love him, especially after the happenstance of your meeting. He didn't waste time thinking too deeply into it at the moment though, instead taking his time to admire your breathtaking eyes that he always seemed to get lost in.

You noticed how he seemed a little out of it just as you previously were but you could tell the worry that sunk behind his eyes. "I'm fine, Bubba. If that's what you're truly worrying about.." You said with a soft smile, your eyes followed up his arm as your hand trailed behind until it landed on his cheek. You soothingly stroked his mask, the lovingness in your actions being evident. You loved to show Leatherface how you felt and how much he meant to you. Although you hadn't heard much of the way he was raised, you knew enough to see that he didn't believe he was capable of being loved. It just made you want to shower him with affection and show him he truly deserved it.

You could tell with the redness dancing across his cheeks behind his mask that he enjoyed your lovingness. It made you overjoyed, butterflies dancing in your stomach as you felt his hand snake around your waist and pull you closer. The sweet gesture causing you to look deeply into his eyes, a romantic ambiance shielding the both of you from anything else that could take your attention away from eachother.

The more you gazed into his eyes in a comfortable silence, leaning into his embrace, you wondered what he truly looked like. He had yet to take his mask off but it didn't bother you, not until now. You wanted to see all of him; accept all of him, as he had for you. The yearning in your eyes was all too prominent for Bubba, his eyes starting to nervously dart around. He wasn't used to this, not this attention nor this adoration. It made you want to show him more.

You hadn't gotten physical with him at all, not even a kiss past the cheek of his mask. You wanted to give him time and it felt like you had given him enough, it wasn't as if he didn't want to do more just as badly as you did.

He craved it more than you could imagine, more than you even knew. He was scared of breaking you, like you were some porcelain doll meant to sit pretty on a shelf just for him. At moments it killed him to refrain but he didn't want to scare you or make you disgusted at him, as most people were. He didn't even think you wanted to do such acts.. he believed you were too pure, too sweet and innocent. That's why these past few months have been filled with nothing but pure affection, nothing beyond that.

You gently grasped his hand, intertwining your fingers as you stepped away. A grunt escaped Bubba, him wanting you to stay instead of leave. He soon realised you weren't going anywhere at all but instead were guiding him, guiding him back to the room you two shared. He couldn't help but admire your skin, the sweat coming off of you made you shine like the most precious thing he'd ever seen. He wasn't even curious about where you were taking him, his mind too intoxicated by you.

You led him into your shared room and gently closed the door. Today was the day. You knew nobody was home besides the two of you, you had made sure of it. You looked up at Bubba's figure which towered over your own and smiled. "Bubba, come sit on the bed" You'd say, not untangling your hands for a moment as he took a seat on the bed. You could tell he was confused and nervous but behind all that, you saw surprise mixed with anticipation.. Anticipation on what you'd do next. Bubba was red like a glowing ball of fire, his eyes darting between you and everything else. You could feel his nervousness radiating off of him as you slowly walked closer until you were almost on him. He could smell the faint scent of your perfume and he could feel your warmth. It was so intoxicating, so exciting.

You sat down on his lap, being the closest you had ever been. You could feel a slight bulge but you ignored it for the time being but it stayed in the back of your mind as your hands trailed to his mask, gently grasping the sides of it. His eyes widened in panic and fear, he immediately made a sound of disapproval along with some incoherent babbles as his hands darted up and took yours. Your eyes stared lovingly into his as you held his hands close to your chest. The babbling came to a halt as you gave him a gentle squeeze before beginning, "Bubba.. You know I'd never think less of you. To me, you're the most handsome man in the whole wide world.. I just want to be able to love all of you and kiss those sweet lips of yours.."

You stated with a gentle smile, a hint of a chuckle coming out at the end but it was more than true. You dreamt of kissing him, dreamt of this moment where he'd finally give in and as you hoped, his gaze softened and he looked down with shame. It hurt your heart that he was so insecure about himself.. but you knew you'd change that. With a hesitant approving mumble, your hands found his mask again as you slowly lifted it with anticipation to see your lover. He looked down right ashamed as it came off, worry lacing his incoming groans as he drifted off further into his shell. You gently propped his head up and pressed your lips against his with passion. He was surprised but melted into it with ease. As you pulled away, you cupped his face and looked deeply into his eyes while analyzing his features. "You're so handsome, Bubba.. I could look at you each day and never feel any less love than I do in this moment, if anything my love for you will only grow.." The words dripped from your mouth like an aphrodisiac for Bubba. Those words.. he longed to hear them for so long.

His lips found a smile and planted against yours, lovingly yet almost desperately. He didn't want to hurt you but more than ever, he wanted you in this moment. More than anything, he wanted to be as close to you as possible. You were his love, his addiction and his soulmate. He would share anything with you and loved you in a way no one had ever loved him before.

I guess that feeling was mutual between the two of you.
