This red bird of mine

Birds and confusions

*pst* a voice so familiar called to Chloe. "Huh"
Chlo turned in confusion and there was a bird, well more like a swan but it was red? "Woah its movements are majestic, almost like it's a dance" Chlo whispered under her breath while walking to the swan reaching her hand to it. "Hey I'm Chloe charming, whats a pretty bird like you doing alone?" The swan moved closer to her and laid its head to her palm. "So cool" Chlo smiled, *pst* the same voice called, all this time it was from the swan. "I'm sorry" the swan told her. "What do you mean?" Chloe said confused, suddenly everything went fuzzy and the swan bit her hand.

Chloe gasped waking up to her alarm.  "what the heck" Chlo said while looking at her hand the swan bit sending shivers down her spine. *knock, knock* "Honey are you awake, get ready for school" Her mom/Ella exclaimed walking into her room. Chloe was so out of it thinking on what happened and why the swan bit her I mean it was just dancing alone happily or was it just to lure her , what ever its just a stupid bird anyways Chlo tried not to let it get to her head. "Chloe are you alright you look like you saw a ghost, what happened?" Ella said concerned on what happened to her daughter. Chlo snapped out of the trance looking to her mom "uh sorry mom I'm... Just um thinking about uh school, Yeah! dance competitions are coming and I'm excited to meet the other teams." Chloe said trying to convince her mom nothing happened. "Ok? Well I have to go to work so make sure to get to school on time, I love you princess" Ella said as she kissed her daughter's forehead. "Bye mom, don't worry I'm always on time" Chloe let out a small laugh. "Alright dear make sure who's boss, do your best."

At school.

"Hey Chloe see you're alive since your team captain of the Swords and shields people get really bitter." Chlo's cousin Dizzy said resting her hand on her shoulder. "I could say the same to you, everyone's is jealous of your hair styling skills I could say the same too." Chloe laughed bumping their shoulders. "What can I say I did style queen Mal's hair, she's basically like a big sister to me." Dizzy said with a proud smile on her face. They were talking for a while until they parted ways for class.

Walking into the classroom Chloe bumped into someone "Sorry that's my fault I wasn't paying attention" Chlo said looking up noticing someone who was familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it. "It's okay" the girl said looking with an annoyed expression on her face. The girl was about to walk in but Chlo had stoped her "hey you're Red the princess of wonderland, I've always wondered what it was like over there" Chlo had said jokingly. " you should come sometime I'll introduce you to the Jabberwocky." The Red said sarcastically, but Chlo didn't notice."Fun what's a jabberwocky?" Chlo said excitingly. "A monster that eats annoying girls" The redhead girl walked off to her seat in class. "Woah who knew someone could be that rude" Chloe said hurt by the girls words, she wasn't annoying she was just trying to be nice because her mom told her its best to be kinder to the new people in your life.

Class had started and all Chloe could do is stare at red, she was rude but Chlo had forgiven her already what if she was just nervous for her first day she would be to if she were Red. There was something off by the vibe Red had I mean she was gorgeous not like any girl Chlo had seen, wait why is Chloe gawking over a girl she just met that must be creepy Chloe thought.

Red was smart, well not education wise but she could tell if someone is being weird. Red turned her head towards where Chloe was sitting, but the girl had her head down doing her work."Weird" Red had whispered it was her first day and someone was already starting to weird her out. "Oh Red dear I almost forgot to introduce you to the class, do you want to come up?" The teacher had said. Red took it as a literal question thinking she had a choice "No thanks, I'm good" looking back down to get back to work as the class started giggling. "Um dear it wasn't an actual question" the teacher said embarrassingly, "Then why did you phrase it like one, you're not making since" you could see the face the teacher made as she was starting to get angry. The class was already amused at Red's words laughing out of control, "Red I don't want to do this on your first day but if you have anything else to say to can step out." The teacher said fuming. "Alright if you say so" Red walking to the door still not getting the hint and that made the teacher snap."For you being smart go see the principal, Red!" Everyone in the classroom was laughing except Chloe she actually felt bad for Red because she knew Red dint get what the teacher meant nor knew where the principals office was. Chloe raised her hand "Um miss Charcoalfarts since she's new I can take her if you want." "Thank you miss charming I will inform the principal about your selflessness too, please take her to the office."

Walking to the office.

"That old hag is such a pain in my—" "Hey! We're not aloud to curse on campus there could be admin in the hallways" Chloe interrupted Red. "Why should I care about other old hags" Red said in a toned voice. "Because they build this school themselves, not literally but the history behind it is amazing which makes me respect them more" Chlo said looking inspired which made Red hurl. "History is the worst and why are you such a goody goody lap dog" Red said trying to talk down to Chloe. "I'm not a goody goody nor a lap dog, but let me guess you think you're some baddie rebel by herself against the world well your wrong there are other people you know that have feelings so get over yourself" Chloe said with a pout on her face. "Woah princess calm down don't want you to crash out before we reach the office" Red said winking looking unfazed by her which made Chloe blush embarrassed."W-well I-I-" "Cats got your tongue" Red laughed interrupting Chloe, but they reached the office. Red was going to go straight in but Chloe stopped her to knock."Come in" The principal said. When they walked in it was Uma the queens friend. "Wow so you're not an old ha-" Ref said before Chloe had nudged her shoulder really hard. "What can I say I am the pirate queen, but enough about me I'm interested on what happened in miss Charcoalfarts's classroom" Uma said nonchalantly leaning back in her chair with her hands behind her head."Well the hag was asking questions so I answered them but she got mad for no reason"Red said still annoyed at the teacher. "Im guessing wonderland has a different way of simple etiquette, the island is the same way it took me a while to figure out what the people on Auradon meant when they were talking so fancy" Uma laughed and red agreed, but Chloe was confused."Since the situation wasn't that serious and it's your first day I'll let you off the hook"Uma explained. "I'm sure red is great full principal, but earlier you sent an email about dormitory and I'm hoping you can explain more on that topic?" Chloe questioned. "Ah I forgot about that, well it's been more than a week since the first day of school and we've been behind because normally dormitory starts the first day but we realized that last years students didn't take care of them well so we had to repair but tomorrow we'll be ready to open for you kids, so make sure you have your bags packed" Uma explained. "Well if there's nothing else y'all can see your way out and remember I'm a friend of you need to talk" "Ok thank you for your time" Chloe said, "Well it was a waste of mine" Red yawned and Chloe nudged her again but it was worse than the last one. "Ow, you're strong for a princes I like that" Red said teasing Chloe as she blushed "You're a princess too you know"Chlo laughed.

*The rest of the day was good and all the students were going home* "Chloeeeeeeeeee I'm so bummed that we see each other the whole day, you heard about the dorms?" Dizzy hugged Chloe. "Yeah I heard and I hope we room together" Chloe sighed happy. "Ooh did you hear about the new girl I heard it's the princess of hearts, I bet she's cool" Dizzy wondered "I wouldn't say she's cool I met her and she's kinda full of her self, but I can see through her and maybe we'll be friends" Chloe smiled."If she's so full of her self why would you smile like that? Nobody smiles for a person like that unless they got a crush" Dizzy starts interrogating Chloe pinching at her face. "It's not like that plus I think she could change in good way nothing in that category" Chloe said but her face is turning pink. "Sureee, well I think it's a crush and I'm here for you to finally find someone like what about her that you like?" *BeepBeep!!* a car honks, it was King Charming ready to pick up Chloe."Welp I got to go bye Dizzy see you tomorrow" Chloe said saved by the car. Still what did the swan mean?
