Our Secret...

Part Eight:

"After The Accident" 

The next few days Jackson had to stay in hospital to be monitored but finally on Saturday he was allowed to go home, but unfortunately his parents had to go on a business trip so he was staying with the Pierce's. 

Mary showed him to the guest room "Here is your room" she says 

Jackson smiled "Thank you again for letting me stay here Mary, I tried telling my parents I'd be fine alone, but they wanted to make sure I was taken care of"

She smiles "Well Lilly just went and did an entire shopping haul of stuff to take care of you, and you know this house has always been your second home. You're always welcome here Jackson"

He chuckled "It always has been, and I am really grateful I had somewhere to go, when I had no where else I felt safe. I'm guessing she wasn't taking no as an answer" he asked 

"You happen to be correct" she says and heard the front door open

Lilly smiles "Hi mom" she says and puts down a bunch of bags 

Jackson looks over "Lilly, was this necessary?" 

She nods "Absolutely, I even got the SpongeBob popsicles" she says 

He smiles "I can't be mad at that" he says 

Lilly nods "Yeah I grabbed those last minute, totally didn't spend a hundred bucks today" she says 

Jackson shakes his head "You just love playing doctor"

"You happen to be correct" she says

Their mom came back over "Alright I think I need to set some ground rules between the two of you, doors will stay open when your together in the same room. I will not be hearing about anyone getting pregnant" she says 

Lilly sits on his bed and sighs "Mom" she says

Jackson nods "I can almost a hundred percent guarantee there will be no grandchildren anytime soon" he says 

Lilly sits uncomfortably "Can we stop talking about sex" she says and looks down to her lap taking a deep breath "I am no where close to the end of my healing journey, and definitely not ready to be going around and having sex. Luckily Jackson understands that and as he said."

Her mom nods "I'm sorry sweetie I almost forgot about that, but still I just wanna set boundaries down" she says 

She nods "I get that I just wanna let you know, I'm not ready for that step" she says 

"Alright whenever you are, I want you two to be safe about it" 

Lilly nods "I'm gonna go read a book" she says and walks out of the room and goes to her room, She sits on her hanging chair and brought her knees to her chest laying her head on her knees. 

Her mom went downstairs and started cooking 

Jackson used his crutches to go over to Lillys room, He sits on the footrest in front of her chair and placed a hand on her leg "I don't think she meant to trigger you like that" he told her

Lilly moved his hand off of her "It's not her fault I'm like this" she says "Before I wasn't triggered by peoples words every damn day, but now I have to deal with the anxiety and being scared of opening up myself again" she says 

He nods "Lilly its gonna take time, but as you continue going to therapy you will find it easier to deal with as time goes on" he says 

She sighs and put her head back "I know I know, but I just want to feel normal, You deserve a girlfriend who isn't scared of being intimate with you."
