The grand ballroom of the opulent hotel was bathed in golden light, the elegant chandeliers casting a warm glow over the guests. It was Manav's engagement party, and the room was buzzing with excitement. The event was a showcase of grandeur, from the pristine white linens on the tables to the lavish floral arrangements. The air was thick with the fragrance of roses and orchids, blending harmoniously with the faint aroma of gourmet hors d'oeuvres.

Ishan's House

Ishan stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his tie with meticulous care. His dark brown hair was neatly styled, and his sharp features seemed even more defined in his tailored suit. The large, luxurious bedroom reflected the grandeur of his life, with sleek modern furnishings and elegant décor.
Keshav Shah, Ishan's father, appeared at the doorway, his face lined with a smile. "Are you ready, beta?"
"Almost. Just making sure everything is perfect," Ishan replied, his tone measured.

Aparjita Shah walked in, her elegant saree shimmering under the room's light. "Ishan, you look quite dashing. But remember, tonight's about enjoying yourself as well, not just about making an impression."

"I know, Maa. I'll try to have a good time. But there's a lot of business to discuss."
"Relax," she said softly, patting his shoulder. "Manav is a good friend of yours, and this party is as much about celebrating him as it is about networking. You'll do fine."
Meanwhile, Naika Shah, Ishan's younger sister, peeked into the room, her bright eyes alight with excitement. "Are we leaving soon bhai?"
"Yes, we're heading out in a minute," Keshav said. "Just waiting on your brother."

Smriti's House

In contrast, the Dave household was a lively hub of activity. Smriti, dressed in a stunning emerald-green gown, was the epitome of grace and elegance. Her parents, Raghav and Bhumija, and her younger brother, Hriday, were engaged in animated conversation.
"Smriti, you look absolutely beautiful," Bhumija said, adjusting a stray strand of hair from Smriti's face.

"Thank you, Maa. I hope tonight goes well," Smriti said, her voice betraying a hint of nervousness.

Raghav, her father, gave her a reassuring smile. "Just be yourself. Enjoy the evening, and don't let anything spoil it."

Hriday, always the mischievous younger brother, chimed in, "This is the first time I'm attending a business party and I am pretty sure that I'll enjoy it well."
"I'm sure you'll have a great time there," Smriti said. "Let's head out now."
