Mario is the king of the Mushroom Kingdom. His and Luigi's origin is identical to his Illumination movie counterpart. His story later branches off into other Mario games
At the end of Super Mario Odyssey Peach choose to be with Mario and the 2 of them got married. This caused Bowser to hate Mario for awhile
Mario would later be crowned king of the Mushroom Kingdom and would have Peach as his queen. He later elected Luigi to be the captain of the Royal Guard
At some point Mario learned there were other worlds out there and he would later want to train to be a Keyblade Master. He went to Rosalina to seek help to which Rosalina revealed she had a Keyblade of her own
So she began training him. Mario would later meet Aqua, Terra and Ventus. He felt guilty for not being strong enough to save them
At one point he left the castle in a hurry to find out that some of the worlds were destroyed by the Heartless
He met a boy named Riku and the pair formed a strong friendship with Mario acting like a surrogate father for Riku
They'd eventually reunite with Sora, Luigi and Yoshi and together they went on many adventures
He became one of Sora's friends and played a mentor role for him as well
Months after the Organiszation was defeated in KH3, Mario, Luigi and Yoshi would be recruited to join the fight against Devil Mario
He'd also fight alongside Sora and his friends when they fought Wart, Mecha Mario and Princess Shroob as examples
