Thoughts 💭Druella handed Fred and George the charm list as they approached her. Their faces lit up with excitement as Fred spoke up, "This will help the three of us immensely, guys." Druella was momentarily confused. "Three of us?" she echoed, not sure what they meant. Fred and George exchanged a look, their grins widening.
"Yeah, we'll be great together," George added.
Druella raised an eyebrow. "Pardon me, what do you mean by 'we'?" she asked.
The twins both laughed. "You'd never know," Fred teased, a wink in his eye.
Druella rolled her eyes, feeling both amused and curious. It was clear they were up to something, but she couldn't quite figure it out. One thing was for certain, though: she was glad to have made some friends, even if they were a bit mysterious.
Her train of thought was interrupted as Professor Snape suddenly approached, his black robes swishing around him like a storm cloud. "Ms. Black, these two bothering you?" he asked, looking at Fred and George, who immediately stopped laughing.
Druella glanced between the twins and Snape, then answered, "No, Professor, we were just talking about school stuff."
Snape stared at Fred and George for a moment before nodding, his lips curling slightly. "You need to come with me," he ordered, turning on his heel.
Druella exchanged a look with the twins before following Snape down the corridor. The professor led her to Dumbledore's office, where all of Druella's professors were waiting. The air felt tense as Snape closed the door behind them, and Druella silently took a seat.
Without a word, Snape placed a test on her desk. The letters on the paper seemed to blur for a moment, and Druella stared at them, confusion overtaking her. "This is your OWL exam for this year," Snape explained coldly. "You're going to take all the exams early."
Druella's brow furrowed in confusion, but she remained silent as Dumbledore added, "We want to see how you'll do on this test."
Her heart raced as she sat back, unsure of what was happening. She'd never expected something like this. The professors watched her closely, but Druella ignored them, focusing only on the test in front of her. Time seemed to stretch endlessly as she worked through the questions, doing her best to answer each one with the knowledge she'd accumulated over the years.
Once she was finished, the professors watched as she handed the test over to Dumbledore. She could feel their eyes on her as he graded it, and her nervousness grew with each passing second. What was all this about? Why had they chosen her for this? She could feel a knot tightening in her stomach, her mind racing with possibilities.
When Dumbledore finally spoke, Druella's nerves flared. "You got an amazing score on this test," he said, his eyes twinkling with approval.
Druella blinked, confused. "Is that good?" she asked quietly.
Dumbledore nodded. "We're having you moved up a year. You'll start your new classes tomorrow. You've passed your final exam with flying colors."
Druella was stunned. Her mind whirled as she processed his words. Moved up a year? She shook his hand, still in disbelief. "Thank you so much, Professor."
As she walked away, Dumbledore looked after her, his expression thoughtful. "Something about that girl... it's familiar," he murmured to himself.
The rest of the day buzzed with talk about her test, and Fred and George were especially grateful. "Thanks for not telling Snape anything that happened," they said, both eager to be in on whatever Druella had been doing.
