Audition or Die (Sunny)

(Just a heads up, a section of one of the scenes may be considered a Song Fic, however, the usage of the song has been limited to a minimum to comply with TOS of Wattpad and AO3.)

Sunny poked the steak he had in front of him with a fork.

He wanted to make sure that it was actually medium rare rather than raw.

At the end of the other side of the table was Yi Sang.

Who upon seeing him simply play with his food said. "You've eaten raw steak before, haven't you?"

A bit weirded out by the question, Sunny simply nodded, there was no point on lying about it.

"How do you know?" He asked.

"I've eaten raw steak before." The former Wing researcher admitted.

"..."

"..."

"That's all?"

Yi Sang nodded. "That's all."

Sunny wondered if he should be associating himself with this man.

Then again, joining an adult who has no relation to you whatsoever while being a teenager was weird by itself.

But that situation could be answered by the fact that they saw a world where he was him.

Yi Sang looked at the boy as he asked. "Are you going to enter one of the rooms again?"

Once again, Sunny nodded.

It has been a long time since he entered one, but it was understandable, they just saw the darkest secrets he had been keeping hidden.

He was incredibly grateful that it ended up well for them though.

He still couldn't believe that they were willing to forgive him for what he had done.

It wouldn't stop him from feeling guilty over it, but he was glad that there was no need to be scared anymore.

And at the same time, he was glad that Basil would be fine again. Not having to cover for him any longer.

Sunny stood up after finishing eating the steak.

He had to meet up with his friends to view another reality.

The owner of the hotel had promised them that the next world they would see would be much more light hearted.

As Yi Sang watched the boy disappear in the distance, he heard steps closing behind him.

It was Faust, she looked at him with a soft smile. "I see you are becoming acquaintanced with the boy."

"... Is it odd?"

"Not at all, Faust believes that this is quite the progress for cooperation."

"Speaking of which."

"The manager has selected you for the meeting with the representatives of the other groups."

"You will be meeting the carefully selected representatives to discuss certain matters such as the current situation regarding each of their worlds alongside..."

"Coincidences that are fascinating."

Yi Sang nodded, he understood what she meant.

Despite being from different worlds, they seemed to have some sort of coherence such as culture and important names.

He would find out sooner or later once he went to the meeting.
