Minho sighed and shook his head. He didn't know what problems it might cause, especially since y/n seemed young which might mean she has friends which might include his audience.

It was not the first time his mother had accidentally told someone as she loved to talk about him because he really did mean the world to her, and the fact that he works so hard and achieved so well making her the happiest mother alive.

But because of this, she had accidentally yapped to the wrong aunts and young people which lead to his place being leaked on multiple occasions, causing major issues such as sasaengs finding his home and getting close to even stalk him. Being a star was a huge deal unfortunately, especially with many vile people in his audience.

Thankfully though, it was pretty rare for his mother to end up telling the wrong people, as she usually only talked to people who always ended up being kind people, and for it to lead to stalking being rarer. On occasions where it did happen, the police always dealt with it very well and the community and area was way too friendly and safe for people to be lingering about suspiciously.

"Idol?" she gasped, quite startled; no wonder he seemed like a familiar face. Her friend would always go on about kpop idols and gush over them, specifically Stray Kids. His mother put her hand on Minho's shoulder apologetically
"Don't worry dear, she's a sweet girl... dear, can you keep it a secret? Please don't go around telling anyone about this, okay?"
His mother comforts Minho, then turning her attention to y/n.
"Of course, I'm not really all that close with anyone anyway, so it won't be a problem"
She could sense the stress and tension she had in her voice as she knew the dangers of revealing it so casually to members of the public so easily, and y/n understood this.

Minho gave a sigh of relief.
After all, she was a girl who needs to gather her courage to pet a measley cat; he'll be fine.
His mother awkwardly puts the topic aside and she starts talking about Minho, gushing about how proud she was.
Minho only talked whenever he had to, giving small filler laughs when he felt it was necessary every now and then.
He must really be the quiet type, that's what she thought at least.
She found his mother's care and love for her son adorable and really admired it; her tone was so genuine and pretty, as if her son was her orange and pink hues. His mother didn't describe him in a way that seems like she's showing off, but genuinely loved expressing how much she cares which made y/n melt.
The ideal parent-child relationship, how adorable, she thought.

After a while, they finished eating and started tidying up. His mother's friend had arrived and so, she had to leave the house and do whatever she had to do at their house, leaving y/n to tidy with Minho.

"It's really fine, I can help wash up", she chuckled as she noticed that he tried to hurry and finish up faster than her so that she does less work.
He seemed instinctively caring, no matter how much she protested and told him to relax.

"My mother talks to me about 'the sweet cashier girl' from her regular shopping rounds and how you risk your job to give her discounts so, seriously, don't worry about helping. We're fine to return the favour." he remarked, taking some of the dishes from her and washing them up next to her.
Y/n, flustered again at hearing that his mother had been talking well about her to even her son and she smiled appreciatively.
His words made her feel more comfortable to be in their family house rather than uncomfortable and out of place like she was earlier.
He noticed the slight flush on her cheeks and he gave a small grin.

"She's very nice, the only customer I look forward to. She praises me too much though, Im so silly that I struggle to handle freaking cats" y/n adds.
