Neil birla :"As I stood there, frozen in shock, Aarohi's words cut through the air like a knife to my heart. I had known this truth already, but hearing it from her lips was like a punch to the gut. The feelings I had been unable to express, the secrets I had kept hidden for so long, now threatened to spill out. My inner self was crying, screaming to be heard. I couldn't lose her, not now, not ever.
With a surge of desperation, I reached out and grasped her hand, pulling her back towards me. 'Aarohi, wait!' I pleaded, my voice trembling with emotion. 'I have something to tell you, something I should have said long ago.'
She turned to me, her eyes searching mine, and I knew she already knew. But I had to say it, I had to confess. 'Aaru, I was so blind, so stupid,' I began, my words spilling out in a rush. 'I prioritized my work over our love, over you. I was afraid to admit my true feelings, afraid of losing our friendship.'
I took a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest. 'But the truth is, Aaru, I've been in love with you since we met in college. I know we've been childhood friends, but my feelings for you grew into something more. I was just too afraid to tell you.'
I looked into her eyes, pleading for forgiveness, for a chance. 'Aaru, will you give me a chance? Will you let me prove my love to you?' I asked, my voice barely above a whisper."
Aarohi's expression was unreadable, her eyes sparkling with a mix of surprise, confusion, and something else I couldn't quite decipher. She seemed to be searching my face, my eyes, my soul, as if trying to uncover the truth behind my words.
Time stood still as we stood there, the only sound being the heavy breathing between us. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, threatening to burst out of my ribcage.
Then, in a movement that seemed almost imperceptible, Aarohi's expression softened. Her eyes, those beautiful, piercing eyes, filled with a warmth that made my heart skip a beat.
"Aaru..." I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion.
She took a step closer, her hand still in mine, and I could feel the electricity coursing through my veins.
"I've waited so long to hear you say that," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
My heart soared as I realized what she was saying.
"You feel the same way?" I asked, my voice full of hope.
Aarohi nodded, a small smile playing on her lips.
"I've been waiting for you to catch up," she said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
I laughed, relief washing over me like a wave.
And then, in a moment that felt like destiny, I pulled her into my arms, our lips meeting in a kiss that felt like coming home.
As our lips touched, the world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us, lost in the moment. The kiss deepened, and I could feel Aarohi's heart racing against mine, our love and longing finally set free.
