Elodie had been told how to get to Hogwarts and was fairly excited for the train, at least it was much less obnoxious than a flying carriage pulled by Pegasus', however there was still one problem she was faced with. The platform. Her parents had been told she must walk into a wall, like come on. At first she couldn't tell if her parents were joking around with her, then again they weren't really jokesters.
Being weary of the time, Elodie just decided to get on and do it, she gripped her hands onto the two pale blue cases, with Beauxbatons symbol etched into the side and began to run at the wall. The barrier was coming nearer and nearer, she wouldn't be able to stop now, she closed her eyes expecting to crash. Until the crash never came, with her eyes still closed she felt her surrounding morph into something completely new. A warmth, a comforting one, Elodie opened her eyes to the grand Hogwarts express.
Looking around Elodie viewed teary-eyed parents, embracing their children with softly spoken words and reassuring smiles. Elodie felt a longing for something she had never had before, the emptiness inside her suddenly became unbearably heavy. Old, buried voices began to ring in her head. " She will not be one of them, i will not risk it!" "That Amora girl is brainwashing our daughter". Elodie was then pulled back into reality by the screams of the train. She immediately headed onto the train.
The thought of who to sit with had not crossed her mind until the saw the groups of people sitting in the carriages. Elodie had always been quite popular at Beauxbatons, being half Veela definitely helped with that. She passed many groups looking through the glass in the doors to see various of students, some in robes, some reading, some performing spells, or just speaking. She didn't particularly know what or who she was looking for, until her thoughts were disrupted by the howl of a girls voice. "SIRIUS BLOODY BLACK, I COULD KILL YOU".
Elodie looked ahead to see a beautiful girl with dark curls burst into the carriage ahead, followed by a ginger girl who was also quite pretty. The ginger girl who was already in crimson robes noticed Elodie and smirked at her playfully after seeing the shocked and confused look on Elodies face. With a few more shouts and screams the dark haired girl shouted once more before storming out. "Fuck you, Black!" She was then followed by a handsome boy, average height with dark long hair who was staggering after her, spilling out words of apologies. "Sorry about that, join us?" The ginger haired girl voiced sympathetically towards Elodie, after the girl and boy disappeared through the train.
Hesitantly Elodie followed the girl into the carriage. Inside were three boys, one with tanned skin and brown messy hair, he radiated confidence. Sat next to him was almost the opposite, a small, pale slightly chubby boy with blonde hair. Elodie sat down next to the other boy, he was tall and slim with mousy brown hair and scars scattered all over him. The ginger girl was sat in front of Elodie. "Im Lily Evans, what's your name?" Lily smiled reassuringly at Elodie "Im Elodie". As Elodie said this she looked around to see all three boys staring at her, she was used to boys staring due to her beauty, but this didn't feel the same. It was comforting and friendly with no hint of negativity. "That's a beautiful name, this is James Potter" she pointed towards the tanned dark haired boy "this is peter" she nodded her head towards the small blonde boy "and this is Remus Lupin" she smiled at the boy sat next to Elodie.
"What's Beauxbatons?" Remus Lupin asked trailing his eyes away from the book in his hand and gestured towards her luggage. Elodie answered and spoke about her school, as the conversation flowed she began to just listen to the chatter. Becoming lost in thought Elodie felt more comfortable around these strangers than she had ever felt around her 'friends' at Beauxbatons, maybe it was the lack of competition and petty drama, the boys created a refreshing, fun atmosphere, Elodie began to relax. Until...
