chapter 7 : you still holding?

As the two of them stared at eachother for a little bit in silence, well Frida was in silence Sarah was almost exploding on the other side , Frida finally opened her mouth and said " I know you are curious about me and to be fair with you I'm curious about myself too! I also have so many questions I don't hold and answer yet , for example let's say that most things I do right now ...like my eyes...they are something I do instinctively and then I remember I'm in a  humanoid form and I don't exactly know how you humans work either and what's dimed right for your society or your kind , all I do is just mimic what I can predict from your kind in my observations " Sarah was starting to zone out with so many questions, Frida sighed" to put this short for you to understand I also have no idea what I'm capable of doing!and even worse I have no idea what I should be doing, ESPECIALLY ON THIS FORM I HAVE TAKEN ?!" Frida then turned her annoyed face to her human body whom she had no idea how she shapeshifted into , Sarah who saw that understood immediately her thoughts"GASP " " I KNOW!I KNOW!!"  she shouted "in the stories my father told me he said dragons can shapeshift into humanoid forms when they gain enough magical knowledge and power to cast the spell ! Being so young you must have come from a strong sorcerer bloodline! You must have been great with magic !!" Sarah said again in excitement while she leaned her body forward and her face closer to Frida , Frida was taken a bit back in awe from the news , then Sarah took the hint " ah right! I should control my emotions, hehe sorry I didn't want to scare you!" " I just always wanted a person to flex my knowledge you know" Sarah looked a little bit embarrassed as she drank some tea to calm down , Frida however wasn't annoyed at her at all it was rather the information that she told her that was hard for her to comprehend therefore making her annoyed at her own self and memory " it's ok Sarah ! I just need some time to think...it came too sounded" ..." Did you mention sorcerer bloodline and magic ?" Are you saying we are capable of magic?"  Frida asked in genuine concern," PPFFF AHHAHA"  sarah couldn't hold her laugher ," what was so funny ? " Frida titled her head in  confusion,  " oh my goodness! *She took a breath still laughing* you were joking with that question right? " Sarah  swiped the tears in her eyes , " you didn't seriously also forget that dragons are literally the embodiment of magic in our world right? You can't possibly forget that magic was born from dragons and that's why they are the first magical creatures of our planet, after them come the beasts kingdom , who is filled with different magic animals, then it's us humans who can compete with them in terms of magic and magical weapons, and then it's the People of old time as the stories call them...not much is known from that kingdom but many say that it's a kingdom based on the earthly powers of this planet and I have no idea what that means !"  Sarah scratched her head , Frida seemed to gained a lot of information" I see , I understand now ! No wonder I was so confused, I even forgot the most basic things about the world I exist within! " Frida said in desperation placing her hands on her head and then putting her upper half body on the table looking completely like a cry baby , Sarah poked her with a chocolate stick " hey ! It's ok ! If you had forgotten so many things you can ask me ! I will explain you! " Sarah teased her , Frida took a bite from the chocolate stick and chomped half of it because it's poking started to annoy her,  " you are right*nom nom* I feel like I'm lost and I have no idea why ! But most importantly what is it that you wanted to tell me the day you saw me for the first time so badly that you couldn't wait to see me ? " Frida shifted the conversation, Sarah smile faded as she sat back , " oh ...that "  she said as she avoided eye contact" I'm not sure if I should tell you but ...my father..." "  Your father ? " Frida questioned , " " yes ...my father has some... let's say need for you....to help him ... please be careful! "  Sarah seemed concerned "  I know it might not be seen as important and believable right now but ...I know my father ...I know he won't let you stay if you don't have a price to pay in return...I swear I don't mean to use you!  * She then lowered her voice and looked around* please just do your best ...and don't tell anyone I said you this ! Please! " Frida took a moment to study her , indeed she wasn't lying, it seemed that this kids thoughts were the one thing bothering her so much , but too bad a mare human won't be a threat to me ! * Frida thought to herself* I wonder what else is she hiding that she wants to so desperately talk about? I know there is more to it than she shows , how did she know my thoughts back then ? Being able to tell by just my emotional state ... she's got some talent, I must admit this house is not simple and I knew it ," don't worry I will be safe , I promise I won't revail our conversations to anybod!"  Frida swore seriously enough, then Sarah took a breath of relief, " haha * awkward laugh* indeed, who would hurt a dragon! I must have been overthinking!" She still looked troubled for some reason, " it's ok, I'm strong but not invincible, and I feel like we have a long way to go yet ..aaannnddd didn't you say something about playing games together?"  " Oh  that , it was just an excuse to make my parents let me see you! I mostly wanted to talk and get to know you hehe !"  Sarah seemed pleased enough, this little trickster! Frida thought to herself, not only did she deceived her family she also deceive me!? How is that possible!?? Aren't dragons more intelligent than humans !?? Grrrr , Frida started growling in anger without realising, Sarah continued drinking tea as if nothing happened and nothing bothered her , *inside herself: yep I'm definitely dead after that!but too bad i can't keep my mouth shut!!*
