Morning rolls by slower than ever. Each tick of the clock makes you impatient as the small cramp you have from last night trasnformed into excruciating pain you could barely ever comprehend. While sweat was pouring down your skin, you still haven't thought of waking Sylus, thinking that you could just tell him when he awakes in the morning.

"You're awake?" a gravely voice speaks, followed by a grunt as the bed shifts under his weight. "What's wrong?" Sylus props himself up, staring at you with wide eyes.

"I had cramps since last night," you whined, gripping on the bed sheets tightly — as if it eases your pain.

"You didn't wake me?" his croaky voice raised an octave. He throws the bedsheets off both of your bodies. "I'll call the doctor."

Sylus hastily stands up and walks at a brisk pace out the bedroom. Meanwhile, you steadily lift your body to a sitting position while the pain subsides, which comes as soon as it goes. Leaning the back of your head against the headboard, you feel another spasm in your stomach, causing you to groan from the pain.

Footsteps bounce off the walls. "Are you okay?" Luke's voice catches your attention as you turn your head to face him.

"No," you respond curtly, unable to contain the pain as of now. "It hurts like hell."

Luke and Kieran look at each other with worrisome expression. They've only realized that neither of them also has their mask on due to Sylus's words as they pass him by earlier in the hallway.

Mephisto caws. The bird flies towards both men, clawing on their hair as if to tell them that staring wouldn't help with your pain.

"Okay, uh... Deep breaths," Kieran finally speaks as he stands by your right side. "You're gonna be okay. The doctor's on the way."

Listening to Kieran's advice, you force your rapid breath to stop momentarily to breathe in a deep breath of air. You hold it for a second before exhaling. It certainly doesn't't help with the cramps, but you feel your hazy mind begin to clear. Each passing seconds feels like an eternity, the cramps intensifying especially when you try to move.

"Relax," the twins try to coax you in a soft tone. "Wait a little longer— Look, it's Mr. Tomato!" Luke grabs one of the Tomato plushies on the bed and moves it around, as if it's a living creature. "You can do it, Miss! The cramps are strong, but you are stronger!" Luke mimicks a high-pitched voice for Mr. Tomato.

A soft chuckle escape your lips as you continue to regulate your breathing. You're starting to feel more conscious, which makes the cramps worse, but you're sober enough to form a complete sentence. Whispering words of affirmation for yourself, the pain itself starts to subdue, while your thoughts are occupied with the baby's current condition.

A series of footsteps echo through the hallway. Miraculously, the doctor has arrived and accompanying him is a woman, you assume a nurse or a midwife. Both of them rush to your side while Sylus walks in a brisk manner and stops by your side, kneeling down to hold your hand. Sylus has a calm expression, but his eyes reflect anxiety beneath his facade.

"Water's broke," the midwife turns to the doctor. "Ma'am, I'm gonna check your dilation, okay? Now, take a deep breath."

You do as told by the midwife as she lifts the bedsheets slightly. There's a momentary surge of pain as you feel two fingers prodding inside of you, the midwife nodding with a soft smile. "You're fully dilated. It's time for you to push."

"What?" you turn to face Sylus, sweat pouring down your forehead. Gripping your hand gently, Sylus's calm expression eases you slightly as he brushes back the loose strands of hair on your face.

"Take deep breaths," the midwife demonstrates with cheeks full of air, much like a puffer fish. "Now, you push while you exhale," she exhales a long breath of air.

Deliberately, you nod. With the midwife instructions, you inhale deeply, feeling the constriction in your abdomen intensify by the slightest. Gripping Sylus's hand with all the strength you have, you exhale while pushing through the overwhelming pain. The pain subsides and it feels better than you felt before.

"Good job, just a few more push!"

Gulping, you continue along with the midwife's instruction. This time, you slowly exhale while pushing as strong as you can. There's a nagging weight in between your legs, anxiety nearly overwhelming you yet again.

"Just one final big push. You can do it!"

"You're doing great, sweetie," Sylus whispers, wiping the sweat from your forehead.

You pause for a moment, pushing pass the anxiety. With the overwhelming fatigue, you give your final push, feeling the weight in your lower abdomen disappears along with the constricting cramps.

But, unlike what you see in the films, you don't hear the sound of a baby crying. In fact, you're extremely exhausted to the point that the world keeps spinning around you, and the periphery of your vision darkens.

"Miss?"

"Sweetie?"

"Someone bring ove...."

Everything is a blur, but you're more than certain that at this point, you're still conscious.

Something soft holds your cheeks. Your eyes flutter a few times before it opens as you come face to face with Sylus. His expression has softened as he cups your cheeks. "You almost fell," he remarks, pushing your head ever so gently to rest against the soft pillow.

"The baby?" your words are slurred, regaining your consciousness at a rapid pace.

At your question, a piercing cry resonates through the entire room. The midwife carries the baby to your side, gently resting her small figure against your chest. Whatever the midwife says after, you can't quite hear, as all your attention is stolen by the small girl. There are tufts of silver hair on her head, her skin a pale white. She definitely has more of Sylus's genes than yours.

"She's pretty," you whisper, cautiously putting your hand on the baby's back to keep her in place. The small girl sighs, ceasing her cries. You turn to face Sylus, a soft smile on his face as he kisses your shoulder.

"She's a bit small, due to the premature birth. But, her weight is average," the midwife says after taking out the umbilical cord and placenta. "But, I find it unusual, since something must have induced it. Did you do any hard exercises the day prior, Miss?"

You fall silent, trying to remember everything you did yesterday. Then, you remembered what happened last night. "Um, does sex count?"

Silence ensues for a moment. While Luke and Kieran act like they don't hear whatever you said, the doctor turns around with a cough. But, instead, the midwife sighs. "Yes, deep penetration can cause you to have a premature labor," her voice drops to a whisper.

You can tell some people in the room is either fidgeting with embarassment or trying their best to hold in a laugh. Sylus, on the other hand, is just there. Hard to tell if he's angry or amused, maybe a mix of both.

"Well, do you know how to wash a baby?" the midwife changes the topic, turning back to me with a smile.

A/N: I can't believe Misty Invasion event included a showering memory with the guys. Sylus's freaky time is actually canon in game😭
