TW: Mentions of trafficking.

Linkon City's weather is usually nice. But, today, it seems as if the sun refuses to shine ― as if the weather corresponds with your emotions; gloomy. Dark cloud hovers above the sky, with the occasional thunderstorms clapping every now and then. Maybe, a storm will come eventually.

You wake up, refreshed. Despite the weather, you're very eager to start the day.

After a quick shower, you dressed yourself and walked out, stopping by the entrance of the lounge. You can see Sylus sitting comfortably in the sofa and two other figures sitting across him. Sauntering over towards the sofa, you come face to face with Luke and Kieran. Both of them has a more casual clothing on, with their signature masks slightly chipped at around the edges.

"My God," you walk over towards the brothers, both of them standing immediately at your sight. "I was worried sick about you two!" you throw your arms over both of their shoulders to pull them in a loose embrace, earning a curt wince from Luke.

"We're okay. Just a few gunshots and burns," Kieran pats your shoulder. "Nothing Luke can't heal."

"It still hurts though," Luke adds as both of them pulls away from your embrace. "And, my Evol can only heal the gunshots ― it's still painful. The burns, however," he pauses. "Well, externally, they're discolored, but healed. Internally, the flesh is still damaged."

You glance at Luke, then Kieran, with a worrisome expression. "Shouldn't you be recovering?"

"They took it upon themselves to gather intel," Sylus pipes up, still sitting in the sofa. "In fact, they came here solely for that."

Kieran nods, "We couldn't rest, knowing our niece is kidnapped."

"Theia's just a baby. We won't rest until we get some sort of lead," Luke adds with determination in his voice.

"And, a lead, we got!" Kieran finishes Luke's sentence. "It seems like they don't intend on fixing Sifnos anytime soon. What we didn't know was that Apollo's Group accommodates other legal corporates all over Linkon."

Slowly, I walk backwards and sit on the sofa, right by Sylus's side. Thoughts of Theia begins to cloud my mind once again, and it's becoming nauseous just thinking of it. "And, they are?" Sylus speaks on my behalf, sensing the sudden change in my mood.

"Well, we got a list of them, which we compiled into documents and three drives," Luke explains. Kieran pulls a black tote bag from below foot of the sofa across from you, passing the stacked documents and flash drives over to you and Sylus. "These includes the corporate's background, as well as reported cases throughout their businesses."

Sylus puts the documents on the coffee table in front of him. "And?" he glances at the twin, which at this point decides to sit back on the sofa across.

Luke pulls out a slim, transparent tablet from inside the tote bag and hands it over to Sylus. "They postponed the auction next month, on the 3rd. A real estate agency by the name of Alyssum's Estates will be hosting the event along with an open house to attract more buyers to a housing area they just built," he explains.

Sylus taps on the tablet, the transparent screen displaying the invitation, which consists of an introduction, the event's rundown and pictures of the housing on sale. The houses are the minimalistic type with an industrial architect. Overall, it's not luxurious, per say, so you would guess that mid-upper class people might join in on the event as well.

"We have signed both of you up, but," Kieran flips over the documents on the table. "Waiting for over a month would've been too long. So, we tried digging around more," he finally stops and spreads several pages across the table. "We visited Vagrant's Land and heard about an entire organ donor for medical research from Ever Science."
