The guys were just enjoying themselves on their day off when all of a sudden, a mouse wandered, and it squeaked.
"MOUSE"!
I hollered while panicking.
"Where"?!
Starchild looked around, and then in the kitchen, a mouse scurried across the floor.
"Oh HECK NO"!
Catman groaned, a little bit annoyed.
"Does anyone have an idea on what we can do to catch that nasty pest"?
Demon asked.
"We could try a mouse trap".
"But we don't have a mouse trap".
Starchild said.
I walked in, wondering what all the commotion was about.
"What are you guys screaming about"?
I asked.
"There's a mouse in the KISS mansion. And we don't have a mouse trap".
Spaceman explained.
"I'll go and catch the mouse, then I'll let it go outside"
I told the guys.
Starchild, Demon, Spaceman, and Catman watched as I walked around, looking for the mouse.
A few minutes later, the mouse decided to scurry across the kitchen floor, and then it crawled over Carman's boots, and he panicked and ran away to find a place to hide.
I found the drummer hiding underneath his bed.
"Catman, get out from under there. The mouse won't hurt you, it's a lot smaller than you".
I told him, and smiled with a soft giggle.
"That mouse probably has a lot of germs and deadly diseases, like the bubonic plague"!
Catman said, his kitty ears flattening in fear.
"You've got it all wrong, silly. The bubonic plague was caused by fleas that infected the rats during the Medieval period. The fleas had a bacteria called *yersinia pestis*, which can be spread through contact with infected fleas".
I explained.
"That doesn't make it any better"!
Catman frowned.
"What are we gonna do"?!
Starchild asked in desperation.
"If y'all would stop your screaming and be extra quiet, then I can find the mouse and try to grab it by its tail".
I said, and then proceeded to do just that.
The mouse had climbed up on the kitchen counter and was looking for something to eat.
