The Book

Athens 2024 AD

Alex is a normal teenager boy. He is always on his phone. Always playing video games. Doesn't focus on his school that much but likes to play basketball.  He lives in New York but this year he is an exchange student in Greece. So he is staying in his Grandparents's house in Athens.

He didn't like this big change. He won't be able to meet with his friends and hang out in his usual places. He still has his phone, thankfully.
But this change doesn't have only downsides.
He can finally learn about his bloodline, his Greek ancestors.

When he arrived in his room he found a book placed in his bed . He never read books other than his homework. He found them boring and tiring . But this book it was different, it was intriguing. It looked old but was as clean as a new one. In all of it's egdes there were painted meanders (meandros) .
That fact indicated that it was about Ancient Greece. In the center of the book was a spiral. An Ancient Greek symbol  which epitomizes life, fluency and nature.

Next to the book was a note.

"I hope this will be a good distraction and entertainment. I believe that you will learn a lot of virtues and gain experiences from this book. I hope that it will help you as much as it aided me. With love from your Grandpa".
Alex has curious so he opened the book.

In the first page the title read A NEW BEGINNING.

He continued to read the book and he knew that it would be a good distraction.
What he didn't know was that this book, this story was Alexander's life.
His ancestor's adventures.

Sooo this book was created by his ancestors-relatives that collected all the findings about this Alexander, and you can read it together with Alex.
That means that it won't always be a first person. It will probably change POV. With the main character being Alexander. You can imagine it like assassin's creed. So i won't be taking a lot about the modern times .
