6: Infiltration

A newborn child cries in the underworld of Coruscant. A figure walks up to the crying child, she leans down and lifts him up, covering him in a cloth.

Perela: Shh, shh, shh. You're okay now. You're safe.

The child's cries subside. 

Perela: The Force is potent with you. I'll make sure you live a far better life than being stuck down here.

Perela walks off with you in her arms, she looks back to see your deceased mother, before continuing to leave the underworld of Coruscant, going back to the Jedi Temple in safety.

Present day. Mount Justice.

Kaldur, You, Kuhi, Megan, Dick, and Conner all make their way out of the cave and to the beach. All dressed in swimsuits, carrying a picnic lunch, a volleyball, and a bogey board. M'gann stands on the beach, her arms stretched wide. 

Megan: Hello, Megan. 

She then turns towards the boys over her shoulder. 

Megan: We should hit the beach every day.

Y/N: Uh... what are we supposed to do here?

Dick: Relax, of course.

Y/N: Dick, you're talking to a guy who never had a chance to go on the beach before. Seriously, what can I do here?

Dick: It's like I said, take a load off, soak in the sun, leave that Lightsaber of yours in your rooms, and enjoy yourself. It's no biggie.

Kuhi: Huh. We'll do that.

Dick smiles, then lowers his head into his free hand. 

Dick: First, a moment of silence for our... absent comrade...

Megan drops her head too. 

Megan: Poor Wally.

Kaldur: Well. Let us get out there.

The school bell rings at Keystone High School.

"Welcome, class, to the first day of Sophomore Year." a teacher's voice started, his voice broken and scratchy.

Wally leans back, falling low into his chair as he groans.

As Kuhi builds a sandcastle with Dick, you and Megan splash each other in the water. Kaldur stays out because that would just be unfair. Though Conner jumps into a cannonball, landing right between the two of you, drenching you. Megan laughs as she dodges the wave you created. After going through so much in your life, you take the time to enjoy moments such as this.

Wally stands in front of a bubbler, the pressure weak and uneven. As he leans down it sprays him in the face. Clenching his jaw and frowning Wally stands back up straight. Looking down he gasps, seeing that it makes it look like he wet his pants, letting out a shaky, gasping groan as he drops his head back.

Hot dogs roast on the grill the Team has set up, Robin picks one up with a fork to eat it. Rather than with a bun like the rest of the Team.

Orange mush is placed on a lunch tray, where there's already an apple, and something brown that might be bread. Wally looks down, groaning, though this time more in disgust than anything.
