Unfulfilled Promises

Seventeen years ago, 33 year old Zelda De Armas Caso has been living a difficult life since the love of her life who was both sixteen years old back than had kept a promise to each other to wait for one another, in her junior year of high school, Christian Castillo the love of her life was enlisted in the Navy Seals after their Senior year. Zelda hoped he would ask her to marry him, however she had gotten a promise ring, making a promise to him that she'll wait for him, having their future on hold until her love came back to her.

One year later, Zelda had a job and going to school for Fashion Designer is going well... While living with her lovely parents who deeply love her. That one fateful morning the news of her parents had shattered her heart that they were never coming back home to her, the love of her life only stopped by for the funeral without comforting or standing by her side.

Zelda will always wait for him no matter what, but sometimes things will never be the same between them because of the unfulfilled promise that first love broke. She wasted seventeen years waiting for him.

33-Year-Old Christian Castillo retired from the Navy Seals and was glad that he was coming home, but he didn't come alone. Christian has brought someone with him. He forgot about his first love, because he didn't want to wait for her thinking it's just a waste of time. Christian never told his first love that it wanted to be over between them but never had the courage to tell her. He just didn't want to talk to her anymore. In the back of his mind, they're young and stupid also they were young and in love.

Christian is still not on good terms with his father who enlisted him 17 years ago. And his mother who is getting remarried to a wonderful man. But one thing is that his mother invited Zelda, the first love of his life, to the wedding also who designed his mother's dress. Christian never unfulfilled his promise to her because he broke that promise inside his heart.

Can Christian face the love of his love, while being with someone else who he doesn't even love?
