It was easy for everyone to figure out he liked Brooklyn, they all knew way before he admitted it to anyone, maybe even before he admitted it to himself. Everyone could see it in the way he treated her, the way he made sure she was untouchable.

And because of that, he wouldn't allow himself to make the same mistakes he made in the past. So before he could be with her, he needed to tie up some loose ends, even if it took him longer than he expected, even if it made her hate him.

He just couldn't bring himself to meet her without punishing the one who brought her harm, even if it was just mentally.

"Duke," Orlando called out to his friend as he looked away from the scene in front of him in disgust.

But Duke ignored him, he continued pounding his fist repeatedly into the man's face until blood stained his fist and clothing.

Finally seeing enough, Orlando placed his hands on Duke's shoulder causing him to pause on his action. Duke stood up from the ground with his chest rising and falling heavily.

"You done?" Orlando asked handing over the white cloth that was quickly stained red once Duke grabbed it from his hands.

Duke didn't respond he turned away from the man in front of them and flicked his hand, causing the blood to fly all over the ground and wall.

"Where's Leo and Rocky?" He questions, finally using the cloth to wipe his hands clean.

"With Blondie and Anani." He said looking down at the blood that landed on his shoe because of Duke.

He stared at the small spot with repulsion clear in his features before realizing he was getting off track. "So you really going through with this?" Orlando questioned

"Yes," Duke responded without a hint of remorse.

Letting out a sigh Orlando looked down at the light-skinned man who lay slumped on the ground with his face unrecognizable.

It seemed harsh but he couldn't even feel guilty for the boy, it's unlike Duke entirely to give someone a second chance. And for them to take it and do some dumb shit like Duke was a sucker, was idiotic on their end.
