There was no way that Pierce did that to Taylor and there was no way Taylor had another guy. She didn't cheat and Pierce was committed to Tay. Which left mean girls one and two. They had done something to make them so sure, to make them hate each other and I had to figure out what it was before they did something irreversible to each other.

It had been two weeks of watching those two hurt each other over and over again and I was sick of it. I couldn't concentrate on my music, my shit with Sofia or my family shit because my head was trying to understand what the hell had turned everything so wrong.

Sofia just laughed off my questions saying they got what they had coming to them but I had no details and I needed those if I had any hope of stopping things.

Pierce hadn't been openly hurting Taylor but he knew indirectly, that's what would happen and I hated seeing it on her face. Brooke had hickeys every day but I knew for a fact they weren't sleeping together because Sofia bitched that Brooke was whining too much about it. Which meant Pierce was doing it on purpose, just to get at Tay. And he wasn't stopping Brooke from rubbing it in, from kicking her while she was down and that was just as bad as if he had done it. Brooke stole her clothes from the locker room, destroyed her homework, got her put in detention constantly and the final straw had been tonight. Pierce had got her a warning at work. I had been there with Sofia when it happened and it had finally broken her in front of him. She hadn't shed a single tear since it had happened-not in front of anyone anyway but that got her and now everything hurt. She had stormed out and ignored me going after her. Probably because Sofia called me back like a good little slave. I was so fucking done with it.

Taylor had gotten her own, told the coach Pierce was doping, had him benched for the last game until his test results came back-which were clear but the shot had been fired and Pierce was pissed. It was going too far and I hated seeing them tear each other apart. Which is why I was currently putting everything I had on the line to find out what the fuck Sofia and Brooke had done and how.

I left my house in trainers, sweat shorts and hoody, heading for a run in Taylor's direction. I got to her place and threw stones at her window until she scowled out of it, shoving her hair back from her tear stained face. She quickly wiped them away and clenched her jaw, the fire in her eyes aimed at me.

"I just want to talk."

"No." She went to leave but I stepped closer.

"I didn't do anything Taylor."

"Exactly, Niko. You haven't done anything. You sit there with Brooke, Pierce and Sofia, in front of everyone not doing a single thing when they torment me every single day, every way they can." She accused and the pain in her voice was hard to get passed. She was betrayed and she was right, I didn't do anything but I was now and she had to tell me what had happened. The full story.

"I need to know what happened between you and Pierce."

"Why? So you can rub it in?"

"No so I can find out how the hell Sofia and Brooke pulled this off. I might be stuck with her but I can get information. There's no way this was something they didn't plan."

"You know what happened. It was all over the school, Niko. I'm not going through it again just so you can pretend to help when we both know you can't. You're hers and I was delusional to think we could go against that."

I shook my head and stepped closer, poking my head inside the open window. She didn't move and I faced her breasts hidden behind her oversized sleep shirt. I licked my lips and looked up at her as she glared at me.

"Tori is sleeping." She whispered angrily and I checked my phone, making sure I didn't have any threats yet. It wouldn't take long, Sofia watched me like a hawk and I knew what I was risking by coming to see Taylor but nothing was okay. I couldn't let it happen when I knew deep in my gut that there was no way they had done what the other said.
