Pierce was teaching the tech guy a lesson but I had my own score to settle. So while he was dealing with that act of betrayal, I slipped back up the stairs to exact my own.
Sofia was in my head and she wasn't going to leave until I had dealt with her myself. So she was going to boarding school for what she had done, but that didn't change the bullshit she had put me through.
Nothing did. But I was going to feel a hell of a lot better once I had made sure she was done with me.
I left the basement and made my way to her room, hating that it was ingrained in my memory so well. I had been there so many times against my will, it made my stomach churn.
One time I had said no and her thugs had dragged me out of bed and shoved me in their van to bring me here.
She had put things in motion to have my sister's bakery investigated already. All because I hadn't messaged back straight away.
It had been 2 in the morning. I had been asleep.
Now it was her turn to get woken up.
Anger sat in me, fierce and ready to explode. I held onto it with a tight leash that I had every intention of letting out when I got to her room.
She had taken so much time from me, from Taylor and she had taken it too far.
My mind flashed with the tattoo she wore on her thigh and I shuddered. I didn't want my name anywhere on her.
My fingers rolled the lighter I had bought with me. It was sitting heavy in my pocket and the urge to burn the tattoo off her grew untameable inside me.
I reached her room and the guards let me straight in.
Of course, they did, because I had been her pet for so long, they thought she owned me. Why else would I be there?
Surely not to fuck her up or make sure she never underestimated me again.
But that's exactly why I was there.
I couldn't stand the idea that she was going to go off to boarding school and think that she had got the better of me. That she could still control me if she needed to.
I had to make sure she never had control of me again.
It was a need that rivaled my one for Taylor.
I shook as I went into Sofia's room.
It was dark with just her lamp on dimly next to her bed. She was curled up in the silk, a sleep mask on, her body in a lace teddy.
Good. Easy access.
I stepped forward, my eyes on the tattoo on her thigh.
Niko.
My stomach turned again. There was no way I was leaving with that thing still on her.
Maybe it made me disturbed or fucked up but she made me that way and now she was going to deal with the consequences.
I sauntered forward and reached under the bed for the silk ties she left hanging down by the four posts. She used to use them on me. Now it was her turn.
I tied each one as tight as I could as she moved willingly into my touch.
"It's okay, Sof, it's me. Your pet," I whispered as she stirred, muttering in her sleep, under her breath.
"Niko?" she murmured, pulling at one of the ties. I watched the frown of her brow deepen. Then she tugged harder and I smirked. She wasn't getting out of those knots.
