Bye my first... - Mark Lee

Not alone

"Why didn't you tell me about this before?" Sunmi said to one of her friends as she took a bite of the pretzel she had just bought at the mall, "I didn't knew how you were going to react, I was concerned" Dani said with a pout as her friends scolded her.

"It is a pretty big deal so it's weird you didn't say anything" Jeno said to the girl. 

"Well tell me, do you think a girl would like to know that her first love has a new girlfriend even tho they promised to share a future together?" Julie said in a sarcastic tone, the whole group stayed silent because of how out of pocket that comment sounded, "that was a little harsh wasn't it?".

Sunmi scoffed and said "don't even worry about it, we dated a long time ago, it's totally understandable that he wanted to see other people".

She tried to laugh it off and quickly switched the topic "Wow I didn't knew they had a Lego store at this mall lets gaurrr".

The rest of the group quickly tried to forget about the topic of Mark and his new girlfriend Natty, they went to multiple stores and spent all of their allowance on random stuff but especially food.

After a few hours, Jeno drove all of his friends to their house, and once Sullyoon and Sunghoon stepped down of the car, Sunmi was the only one left to drop off.

As music was playing in the very silent car, Jeno broke the silence by saying "you did a pretty good job at hiding it", Sunmi looked at him and asked "what do you mean?".

"You know, the whole Mark and Natty thing" Jeno said as his eyes were on the road, "I said I was okay with it, I'm not hiding anything" Sunmi replied as she scrunched her eyebrows and looked out the window.

"Girl, I've know you long enough to know when you're okay and when you're not, so you can deny it as much as you want but we both know what's up" Jeno said as he maintained his calm tone.

Eventually they arrived to her house and as she was taking off her seatbelt Jeno said "If you ever want to talk to someone about it you know I'll always be there... okay? As long as I'm here you'll never be alone". Sunmi only nodded and gave the guy a smile, she stepped out of the car and made her way inside her house.

She quickly ran to her room and slammed the door closed, and finally she left out the tears she had been holding for a long time now. She couldn't believe Mark was dating that one girl he had told her not worry about back when they were dating.

She tried not to but she ended up thinking about it until 4 am, she thought about what she would do once she sees them together, what would she do? Just walk right past them? Say hi? Pretend like they're not there?.

The next morning she woke up with difficulty, she looked at herself in the mirror and noticed how puffy and red her eyes were from all the time she cried the night before. She took a cold shower and waited for Jeno to pick her up.

She heard the klaxon and said her goodbyes to her parents before heading out.

"Sup shortie"
"Sup oldie"

The two friends made their way to school and once again Sunmi made Jeno open the door for her because of the comment he had made the day before "get some antibacterial so you can open the door for yourself stink" Jeno said to his friend who giggled at the nickname, she then replied "mmm yea I won't be doing that, I'm loving the princess treatment".

"Princess? You? You wish" Jeno said teasingly to the girl who just slapped his shoulder because of his comment.

Sunmi said hello to her friends and went to her first class, then the second one which she had with Sullyoon and Danielle and then the third one she had with Sunghoon.

"Aww I miss when we all had classes together" Sunghoon said as he sat down, "thank god we are not, we used to be a mess back then, I lost count of how many times we got kicked out of the classroom" Sunmi said as she took out the stuff she needed for the class.

Sunghoon followed up by saying "That was the fun part... that kinda calmed down when you left, I guess you were the trouble maker", they laughed at the old moments and then the teacher started the class.

Sunghoon and Sunmi were discussing their plans for lunch together with the rest of their friends, but the moment they stepped out of the classroom they saw Mark and a really happy Natty who had just finished her class and ran to the guy's arms with a big smile on her face.

"Eww romance... am I right?" Sunghoon said as he tried to make the situation a little bit better, which didn't work.

Sunmi just tried to let out a laugh and continued walking, she definitely wasn't ready for that.

After hugging his girlfriend, Mark noticed Sunmi's presence and looked at her as she walked away and laughed next to her friend, his eyes followed her as you could hear the voice of Natty in the background, his girlfriend continued to talk about something he couldn't really care about at that moment.

Physically he was present but in his mind he was still wondering if he could speak to her at least once, that's all he wanted, why? He had no idea, but he felt like he had to.

After a long day at school and after hanging out with her friends Sunmi got home very tired, she collapsed on her bed and took a deep sigh, after staring at the ceiling for a while she grabbed her phone, she noticed she got a new message which said:
