Two weeks have passed since Sunmi and Hanbin started dating, he finally asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes. After four weeks of knowing each other it sounded crazy that they were already dating but he was different, he also thought she was different, they immediately clicked and had so much fun together.Mark had been spending that whole time looking at Sunmi's instagram stories and seeing what they two were up to, she seems very happy with him he thought. The last time they talked he said to her that as long as she is happy he is happy, but how come he couldn't feel that way? He wasn't jealous, he was upset that the guy she was smiling with was not him.
He thought to himself that he lost her once and he was not going to lose her again, he knew that he loved her, and that that never stopped and never will, this time he was going to fight for her love again.
The next day at school, he was talking to his girlfriend under a tree, as he listened to her talk he thought to himself, why am I here?, Natty did seem like a good person but they were definitely not a match.
Mark interrupted whatever the girl was saying and he said "Im sorry but I can't do this anymore", Natty confused asked "what do you mean?".
"I can't be with you anymore, look, you are amazing and all but I don't think we should be together anymore, I'm not feeling happy in this relationship and lately it seems like you don't either so... I think this is for the best".
Natty looked away as anger filled her up, "is this because of Sunmi? Like come one just get over her, the girl has somebody new and she doesn't even notice you anymore, haven't you had enough?!" Mark sighed and said "maybe it is because of her and I'm really sorry but I can't lie to myself and I can't lie to you anymore".
He then stood up and left the girl who was yelling his name asking him to come back, he finally felt free.
That same day, Sunmi waited for Hanbin to pick her up outside of school, he texted her saying that he got caught up with something and that he would get there a little late, her friends left so she was all alone.
Mark who had been looking for her all day, saw her and immediately ran to her, he said "I broke up with her", Sunmi shocked by his words said "what?", Mark repeated his words and said, "I finally broke up with her, now I finally realized that she was just a way from distracting myself from you".
Sunmi stood up from the place where she was seated and said "Mark I-" the guy interrupted and said "yes you are dating someone, but you know and I know that by the end of this we are going to be together, we both know that. Sunmi, you are my soulmate, I've known that since the moment I met you, and everyday it keeps getting clearer to me that we are".
"Before you left, we planned our future together, us growing old together, having a little house out of town where our kids would come to visit with their kids, and that we would know that we had everything we had ever wanted, I still want that with you, I still dream about that moment with you".
"Every date we have been on with someone else, every look, every kiss is just a way to keep our minds off each other, but haven't you thought why that doesn't help? It's because we know we are the one, we know who our heart belongs to and I don't know about you but I know mine is a hundred percent yours and only yours, when are you also going to realize that?".
Sunmi felt tears in her eyes, she didn't knew if it was from sadness or from happiness but deep down she knew Mark was right. The way her heart beats every time she was with him was a way that she had never felt before, not even Hanbin.
"I- I don't know what to-" Sunmi's word were interrupted by Hanbin who approached her and said "babe, you're ready to go?", she stared at him and then stared at Mark who said "just think about it" and then walked away.
Sunmi stood there now with a lot going through her head, what is she was lying to herself thinking that Hanbin was the perfect match for her? She knew her heart belonged to someone else but why couldn't she just accept it.
"Is everything okay?" Hanbin asked with concern as she looked at his girlfriend's watery eyes, but she laughed it off and said "yea... everything's fine" and they left the place.
The moment she got to her house, she updated her friends about the situation, Sullyoon was head over heels filled with excitement, she said to her brother "YOU SEE?! I KNEW THEY WERE MENT TO BE! And they both know it Sunghoon, they. Both. Know. It".
Her brother laughed and said "I don't even know which team I'm on, team Mark or team Hanbin, it's like watching twilight all over again".
"Mimi just haves to open her damn eyes, but she warned me that I should not get involved anymore so this time I'll control myself" Sullyoon said as she felt her heart was about to explode by the knew update on her real life kdrama.
Somewhere else, Natty was texting someone who sent her screenshots of what Sunmi said about her talk with Mark, "this bitch just has to ruin everything every damn time" Natty said as her blood boiled, "I'll fade that little smile from your face Sunmi, this will be the last time you do this to me".
At that moment she went to Sunmi's instagram account and found Hanbin's page, she clicked on send message and began her little plan, "there's no way he's not going to fall for me, but what can I do to really get her...".
A couple of minutes after sending Hanbin the message, he responded and followed along with the girls flirting. "First you have a disloyal friend and now a disloyal boyfriend, poor little Sunmi".
