Swiss woke up to someone snoring next to him. His first instinct was to kick them out, his mind still fuzzy from the sleep and not fully understanding what was going on. But when he looked down at the small person hugging his chest, he couldn't help but smile. It was all real. His Dew was there, sleeping peacefully, their legs entangled together. And now it was time for Swiss to admire how much he changed over those years. Although Swiss loved Dew's long hair, he had to admit that his current hairstyle made him look less boyish and more manly. Soft stubble covered his chin, completing the look.

Swiss strained his neck and kissed the other boy on the forehead, before slowly getting up. He made sure that Dew was covered with a blanket, and left the room, closing the door behind him.

He decided on a quick shower, washing his hair, and putting on some sweatpants, before heading to the kitchen. He quietly hummed, while making them coffee and breakfast. He couldn't stop himself from smiling, hearing the bedroom doors open, and later feeling small arms sneak around his waist.

"Good morning" Dew muttered, and if Swiss wasn't leaning against the cabinet, he would've melted to the floor.

"Hi handsome" he responded, turning around, to look at Dew. The younger boy was still half asleep, his hair sticking out in every direction, eyes semi closed.

"How did you sleep?" he asked, lifting his hand up to graze the other's cheek.

"Really good, best sleep I've gotten in years" Dew smiled, leaning into Swiss's touch.

"Glad to hear that" the older male responded quietly, before leading Dew towards the table and sitting him down with a cup and a plate.

They ate in silence, enjoying the presence of each other. When Dew was finished, he insisted on cleaning up, leaving Swiss to take out his laptop and log in for work. He already knew that Cosmo would take Dew back to work at the store. He often mentioned missing Dew not only as a friend but also as a worker, seeing as it was hard to find someone so passionate about guitars, and helping other aspiring musicians.

But Dew also wanted to start something on his own. While he was in psychiatric ward, he picked up drawing, and he often made some quality designs, which were constantly praised by people around him. So he decided to work part time as a freelance graphic designer, hoping to work in a tattoo shop one day.

"So, we should probably talk about what happened" Swiss said, closing his laptop, after seeing that he had nothing important to do. Well, at least nothing that would be more important than having the love of his life back. But on a second thought, Swiss doubted that there would be anything like that.

Dew only nodded, hanging his head low and looking at his fingers.

"Come here" Swiss opened his arms, motioning for Dew to come and sit in his lap. Younger male with no hesitation did that, letting strong arms hold his frame. Dew felt safe, and knew that Swiss deserved the explanation of what was going on.

"So, I should probably start. It's been a hard two years" Dew sighed, and felt Swiss start to rub circles all over his back. "I've been in and out of the mental health facility, tried to kill myself two more times, but every time I failed, however, right now I am glad that I lived. I couldn't handle what Ethan did to me, so I've developed a heroin addiction, but as of right now, I've been clean for 3 months" he smiled proudly "I could've come sooner, but didn't want you to see me in such a pathetic state. I was a wreck, and sometimes it still gets hard, but I'm on antidepressants, and I also go to the meetings. Here, in this town. Everytime I came over, I was scared that I would see you, and make you disappointed, at how much I failed. Or worse, see you walk around with someone, happier than ever. I knew that it would break me" Dew wiped a tear out of his eye, and Swiss hugged him tighter.

"I could never be disappointed with you. You've been through hell, and all of those stuff, it only shows how tough you are. Sure, half of those things was, and is bad for you. But you lived, it made you survive, when you felt like you couldn't. And I am so goddamn proud of you for living, for coming back, for constantly fighting to get better. And there never was anyone after you. And never will. You have my heart forever and always, no matter how hard I wanted to move on, or tried to move on, because I was sure that I lost you forever, I couldn't. Others couldn't make me laugh as sincerely as with you, I never felt fully understood. Other's eyes never shined like yours do, they couldn't move half as gracefully as you do. Whenever I see you, my whole mood is lifted, you bring this sort of aura into the room, that makes me loose my head. I love you the most, and I've loved you for a long time, and I know that I never will. And it doesn't matter how many hard situations we have ahead of us. Nothing that life brings, will drift us apart. And you aren't alone anymore. We can handle everything together, and we will be fighting side by side, forever, and always. I promise you that." Swiss took Dew's chin into his hand, and looked him in the eyes. The younger boy was silently crying, but his eyes looked much calmer than before.

"I love you Swiss" he said, sniffling.

"Love you too, baby boy" Swiss laughed delicately, and wiped the tears from the others eyes.

"What do you think about spending the whole day together in bed, cuddling, and watching dumb movies?" he asked, and when Dew nodded, Swiss stood up, swiping Dew into his arms and carrying him to the bedroom.

They were only halfway through the first movie, when Dew fell asleep. Swiss knew that a lot of emotions was going through his mind, so he only hugged him closer and kissed him on the forehead.

"Don't ever leave me again, please."
