As they walked towards the car hand in hand Alara couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. She glanced up at Taehyung who was already looking at her with a warm genuine smile.
Taehyung took the car keys from the driver and walked toward the car opening the door for Alara. She raised her right brow with a smile and bowed her head slightly before sitting in the passenger seat.
Taehyung smiled as he closed the door then rushed to the driver’s seat. He got in and started the engine looking at Alara with a warm smile one last time.
As he focused on the road and started driving Alara glanced at him with a soft smile before lowering her head.
Both their hearts were dancing and their stomachs felt butterflies just by being side by side.
As Taehyung and Alara arrived at High1 Ski Resort the crisp mountain air greeted them. Taehyung's sleek black car pulled up to the entrance and they stepped out immediately feeling the cold. Mark was there waiting with extra cozy jackets. He handed them the jackets with a smile and Taehyung and Alara quickly put them on grateful for the added warmth.
Inside the resort the warmth from the lobby was a welcome relief. The resort’s interior was bustling with excitement and energy. Taehyung glanced at Alara a playful smirk on his face.
“So, Harley Quinn do you know how to ski?” he asked his eyes twinkling with curiosity.
Alara looked back at him, shaking her head slightly “No I don’t... But I’m a doctor Mr. Joker for real... If I can keep complex information in my mind from books, I think I can manage to learn this too...in no time”
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, impressed. "But you look excited as if you’re an expert already... You’re talking about trying but know that this isn’t an easy game, You might get hurt."
Alara met his gaze with a confident smile "Then I have you with me to protect me before I get hurt... Haven’t I? And yes, I believe in trying new things. If I haven’t tried it before, I’ll just have to give it my best shot..."
Taehyung’s smile widened clearly amused and admired her spirit “always there for you princess, Let’s see how well my pretty doctor does on the slopes”
They made their way to the ski rental area where they got fitted for skis and helmets. Taehyung stayed close by offering tips and guidance as Alara got accustomed to the equipment. Despite her initial awkwardness Alara’s determination shone through.
As they approached the beginner slopes, Taehyung demonstrated his own impressive skiing skills. He effortlessly glided down the hill turning with precision. Alara watched both in awe and with a hint of nervousness.
“Are you ready to give it a try?” Taehyung called out to her his voice encouraging.
Alara took a deep breath and nodded her heart racing with a mix of excitement and apprehension. With Taehyung’s patient guidance she started down the slope, her movements hesitant but improving with each attempt. Taehyung stayed close offering support and cheering her on.
