"What do you mean? How can my birth take another life??" Spicy looked at Silvio. He didn't say a word further cos his attention was on Lyra who's still in tears.

" I don't know what happened too but strangely, the results showed she died of heart attack " Lyra cried the more.

" So I was dead, but I came back alive after you encountered a Pearl"?.. wow.. it means my life is pathetic already.. " She laughed dryly and Lyra pulled her into a hug.

" I'm sorry for keeping this away from you.. I started noticing something wasn't right the day we went to the supermarket to get some groceries. Someone stole my purse and you went after the person.. I couldn't believe my eyes when my 7year old beat up a grown up guy. I was shocked to the bone, though I didn't put that act of yours in mind not until you clocked twelve when I discovered you don't bleed. I was scared but I never thought of you as a curse cos you were and is still my source of joy" Lyra said in the hug.

"Why is my fate this way? The fvcking Guardian's Grail should have just let me be.. why the hell did it save me? Why the hell did it use me"She sobbed softly.

Silvio sighed deeply as he watched them. Spicy is dead and there's no way he can save her if he's to take the Guardian's Grail away. Even if he's to take her to Gloara which isn't even possible, she'll still have to die because she isn't needed, just the Pearl.

Her human body wouldn't allow the Guardian's Grail manifest and that way, Gloara can't be saved.

"You should stay with your parents.. I'll be on my way, I need to see the King" He said in his head but she still didn't disengage from the hug with her mom.

He glanced at Derrick who's eyes were producing tears too.

" This is too cruel a fate " He almost tear up but he blinked back the tears gathering in his eyes.

The reason he's been nice to her all the while was because he wanted her to live at least a joyous life, make friends and have good memories but it seems he's starting to regret it cos it's only gonna cause more pain.

He should just have ended her life back then at Jeju when he had the chance cos now, he doesn't think he'll be able to carry out the task of killing her a second time.

How will her parents feel? Will he have to erase their memory?? The only child born naturally died in the hands of krokinos and now, the only hope left will have to die a second time?

He balled his fist tightly and didn't bother to say a word to anyone again as he left the house in tears.

"You should do well in your exams so we can graduate together okay? I might end things with you if you fail" She said seriously which made him chuckle.

"I'm serious.." she frowned but he laughed loudly this time.

" Of course I know you're serious.. just that you look very cute with the frown" He said and she hit his chest hard.

" Ouch ".. he winced but it didn't seem to get to Lilah as she tried hitting him again. He held her hands and pulled her closer, kissing her.
