The rising sun shone brightly like a ball of fire while the silvery moon started to disappear from the morning sky. The rising sunlight started to reveal the Storm Spire, standing magnificently in the bright yellow light of the sun.
In one of the bedrooms is a young adult lady could be seen meditating on her mat. Queen Zubeia has been teaching her how to clear her mind and just listen to the sounds around her. Her ears moved ever so slightly when she hears a rustling from near her.
The bedroom that the young adult woman was in was both unique and simple. There's a clean blue bed with soft pillows on the left side of the room. A wooden desk with a mirror and a wooden bookshelf filled with books and some decorations on the right side of the room. In the opposite corner was a carved screen that hid a white bathtub and a silvery-rimmed mirror.
Must be Aella trying to sneak up on me, The young adult lady figured with an amused smile.
"Hi Aella." The Stormwolf barked excitedly while the young lady chuckled softly and petted Aella with a smile. Aella barked yet again and ran off to play off in her own room.
"Sweetheart!" called an elderly voice to the mystery young adult lady.
"Coming!" The young adult lady headed towards the main chamber through one of the shadowy hallways. By the time she stepped out of the shadows, the young adult lady revealed herself to be Sierra with slightly new changes on her appearance.
It has been two years since the Great Battle, and Sierra has decided to live in the Storm Spire with her father and the royal family of Xadia. But she had stayed in contact with Orion and it didn't take long for them to start dating each other. For two years, Ibis and Sierra had both stood ready on the Storm Spire, patrolling it, searching for any sign of danger, guarding the inner chamber where Queen Zubeia and Prince Zym rest in their lair, carrying out their duties faithfully since the day they swore their oaths. Two years, they had guarded the Dragon Queen of Xadia.
She even had the chance to meet her father's family; Sierra has met Osiris, her valorous and empathetic grandfather. Then, there was Horus, her brave and determined uncle. Lastly, there was Freya, her kind and gentle aunt. They had each managed to get along and complimented her on her looks as well as her personality. They had each taught Sierra how to use her powers and abilities. Once their visit was completed, they had promised to return and they had shared their farewells to each other.
Sierra watched as Queen Zubeia returned from her trip with both Pyrrah and Pantala (a friendly blue and yellow Lightning Dragon) by both of her sides as a pair of guards. Both of the two younger dragons were wearing gifted saddles from Katolis and Duren in case any emergencies occurred yet again.
"Greetings Your Majesty." Sierra bowed to Queen Zubeia with a kind smile. She soon looked at both Pyrrah and Pantala warmly. "Hello Pyrrah. Hello Pantala." The Fire Dragon rumbled her greetings, as did Pantala.
"How about a hello to your favorite grandpa?" She almost gave herself an accidental whiplash when she heard that. She recognized that voice anywhere! Sierra soon spotted Grandpa Osiris entering the room. She wrapped her arms around Ibis and squeezed her grandpa tightly. Sierra felt Osiris's strong arms wrap around her. She shut her eyes and let her whole body relax into the embrace.
She soon pulled back from the hug. "I'm glad to see you again Grandpa. But are you sure it's okay for you to stay behind?"
Grandpa Osiris nodded with a warm smile. "I still have a bit of life in me. I can handle it."
Sierra shrugged uncertainly. "Okay. If you say so."
At that, Sierra followed the three dragons into the large cavern while Osiris was getting ready to protect the Storm Spire once they take off. She soon arrived to the large cavern, standing in the entryway at the top of a flight of stairs. Veins of blue metal ran across the rocks while a hole in the ceiling allowed the sunlight to flow in and illuminated the cavern. The ground sprouted a collection of crystals, flowers, bushes, and grass. Sierra watched as Pyrrah and Pantala both walked around the outskirts of the lair. She soon spotted her father and Zym, both looking all too innocent.
"Zym, have you finished your dinner?" Queen Zubeia asked her son.
Zym let out a nervous whimper and glanced at an equally as nervous Ibis, who probably convinced the young teenage dragon to finish his dinner. Yeah, that doesn't sound like Zym at all.
"Every last morsel," said Ibis with a nervous smile. "Such a good boy."
Clearly pleased at the news, Queen Zubeia smiled at them both. "Wonderful! Thank you Ibis." She gazed at Zym warmly. "I'm sure King Ezran eats all of his vegetables too."
Pyrrah let out a huffy snort, clearly seeing the lie between Ibis and Zym. Pantala snorted too, but more amused than annoyed as her friend is. The two dragons' sounds made Ibis and Zym both nervous, so they struggled to hide their little white lie. Zym barked excitedly at the sound of his older human brother's name that he and the others were planning to meet for weeks.
"Almost time for our big journey." Queen Zubeia soon walked out of the cavern with Pyrrah and Pantala behind her.

By the next hours, the sun was low, and the sky was on fire with a blazing sunset and was turning into a calming twilight.
Standing at the edge of cliff on the Storm Spire was Queen Zubeia and an excited Prince Zym with both Pyrrah and Pantala flanking the two royal Storm Dragons. The four of them watched as the Skywing Elf and the Sky Perian said their farewells to Osiris.
Sierra hugged her grandfather with a smile. "See you soon Grandpa."
Osiris chuckled softly and released her from their embrace. "See you later kiddo." He gently patted her head before Sierra joined the four dragons.
Ibis soon hugged Osiris with a smile. "I hope you can visit us again soon."
Osiris chuckled at his eldest son's words. "I'm sure we will."
"Manus! Pluma! Volantus!" Sierra glanced down at her arms to see that her white markings are glowing and smiled to see her arms have changed into beige mage wings yet again.
"Manus! Pluma! Volantus!" Sierra watched as her dad's arms' markings started glowing white and also became black mage wings again.
That's when the four dragons, Skywing Elf, and the Sky Perian have started to fly away from the Storm Spire towards the Human Kingdoms. The six of them have been silhouetted by the bright sunlight as they flew away from the Storm Spire. But Ibis glanced over his shoulder to look at his father, worry and concern went over his expression. Osiris smiled at him warmly and nodded to his son and his granddaughter. That piece of encouragement was what Ibis needed and flew after his companions.
But little did they know, a horrible disaster is about to strike that will be followed by a couple of familiar faces.
