Sᴇᴀsᴏɴ 2, Eᴘɪsᴏᴅᴇ 2:
Sʜᴀᴘᴇ SʜɪғᴛᴇᴅKatherine leans her shoulder onto the doorframe of her cousin's bedroom. She noticed the older girl leaving their shared bed for the night once Allison thought she was asleep. She waited for the older girl to exit her room and head into the bathroom in the hallway before getting out of bed. Now she stands in the doorframe, waiting to question her cousin.
After waiting a few moments, the taller girl exits the bathroom. "So, where you going?" Allison jumps and quietly gasps. When seeing the person who confronted her, she presses a hand over her heart while sighing in relief. "Going to go meet your secret best friend I'm guessing?"
The older girl blushes in embarrassment for being caught and looks down at the soft carpet beneath her boots, a small smile gracing her face. "Maybe... Promise me you won't tell anyone?"
Katherine quietly laughs and crosses her arms over her chest. "Now why would I do that? And besides, I don't have anyone to tell anyway. The only other people I know are our family and that would be the dumbest decision on the planet. I promise your secret is safe with me. Just be safe and text me if anything goes wrong or you need help."
The taller girl's smile brightens as she reaches forward to hug her cousin. "Thank you so much, Kath, seriously."
"No problem." The green-eyed girl then watches as she sneaks down the stairs and out the front door. Once she's out of sight, the shorter girl turns back into the bedroom and closes the door before climbing back into the soft, comfortable bed.
Though her night is far from over, images of fangs, glowing yellow eyes, and claws haunt her dreams, making her sleep just as restless as usual.

Lydia, Katherine, and Allison are all walking up the concrete stairs leading to one of the many side entrances to the school. Both girls agreed to walk the strawberry-blonde inside after her weekend ordeal before the older Argent girl would take her cousin to the office for her schedule and locker number.
