I was grasping onto Analina's hand tightly, like I was afraid she'd disappear. I had been waiting for this moment, to finally bring her with me. I'd fallen in love with her, I didn't mean to, but I couldn't seem to help it. When she was younger I didn't really think this way, but as she reached her teens, my feelings blossomed. Her auburn hair was beautiful, and framed her pale complexion perfectly. Her blue/green eyes sparkled when she laughed, and her pink lips looked lovely when she smiled.
I looked back at her, and noticed she had fallen asleep, in midair. I coasted to a stop and took her in my arms. I cradled her gently, and continued towards Neverland.
It was dawn when we reached our tree hut, and Analina was still sleeping in my embrace. The Lost Boy's crowded around me as I placed her onto the cot in my room.
Curly, the one in the bear suit, whispered to the twins, "Is this the girl Peter's always talkin' 'bout?"
The twins replied simultaneously, "I recon so."
"Shoo. Let her sleep. You can talk to her in the morning," I ushered the boys out of my room, and ordered them to search for strawberries, Analina's favorite thing to have for breakfast. I returned to where Analina was resting, and pulled a blanket over her frail body.
