(trigger warning as a panic attack happens in this chapter if you're uncomfortable with this topic, please skip this chapter!)

"SOL", A  blonde boy breathed out, who the girl recognised almost instantly. Her back hit the wall as she inched away from him, tears flooding in her eyes as she covered her mouth with her shaky hands, vision quick to become blurry.

"I'm sorry I had to go, I had no choice they forced me t-" He explained, desperate to explain. However, she held her hand out, signalling for the boy to stop talking.

"We had a funeral for you, stop, get out of my head." Sol whimpered, hands covering her ears as she slid down the rough, concrete wall, not feeling the pain of the grazes that must now be littered along her spine, as she was on such an adrenaline high, her heart missing beats as her body begun to shake, unable to take breaths as she tried to calm herself down.

Her began to flicker a golden glowing colour as a new level of panic crossed her mind.

She looked up, expecting to be the ghost-like figure to be gone, but he was still there, staring at his sister like all hope was lost.

Full-on sobs now racked her body as it felt like someone was pushing down on her lungs, her worst nightmare playing out in front of her.

As the overprotective brother he had once been and now had the duties of again, he rushed over, flinging his arms around his baby sister, forcing her to look at him, attempting to ease her panicked mind.

She began to cry harder as she felt the touch of her supposedly 'deceased' older brother. Sol was in hysterics, Unable to take in proper breaths, they were shallow and quickened as she desperately searched for air, salty tears falling down her soft cheeks.

Harry had just been standing there, shocked at the scene unfolding before him. But as he watched the girl struggle more, he resumed himself into reality, reacting on instinct to help the girl.

"Princess, breathe." He hushed, lowering himself down towards her height as she sat on the floor, eyes bloodshot, locked onto him.

He was much taller, she had to tilt her head slightly up to get a look at those big eyes of hers staring up at him.

In another instance, Harry Hook would've found this attractive. It may have been a slight turn-on, but the poor girl sitting in front of him was mortified. Crumbling into beautiful pieces in front of his own two eyes.

"You..think I haven't been... trying?" Sol manages to gasp out through gritted teeth, the flow of tears not coming to an end.

"Remember what we used to do, follow my breathing." Her brother spoke, physically turning her around so she was now facing him.

She tried her absolute hardest not to crack into a sobbing mess (more than she already was) when she came face to face with her brother, whimpering as she looked into the eyes identical to hers.

Needing some sort of comfort, Sol gripped Hooks's hand, not caring what the pirate thought of her at that current moment.

"I'm here now, I'm here, I'm sorry." He hushed, his voice cracking during his words, intertwining his fingers and his sister's soft, blonde locks together, her sniffs vibrating his chest as she was now laying on it, his words soothing her to the most peaceful sleep she's had since he left.

____

Sol cracked her eyes open, the evening sunlight causing her to squint. She expected to be hit with a rush of grief and despair, as she had another dream that his ghost plagues.

That was not the case, however, as she turned her head slightly, she saw her brother staring back at her, which caused her to jump slightly, still not believing the whole thing.

"They sent me here. Thought my magic was becoming too dark. They feared that I was a danger to society, so placing me, well.. here was deemed to be the best place." He sighed, lacing his rough, dirt-filled fingers with his sisters, gentle, freshly manicured ones.

The reasoning was insane to Sol. She fought with her mental state every day for three excruciatingly long years as to why he would do it. All because of a stupid magic incident that left another kid slightly injured, nothing the nurse of Auradon couldn't fix.

"Flax, we had a funeral for you, there is a memorial built for you at your dorm that you and Ben used to share." She stated, stressfully running her hands through her hair.

"The guards that came told me-" She began to explain, swallowing harshly as it was still a sensitive topic, even though it had all just been resolved.

"Came and told me...That you took your own life, And there wasn't a note or anything you were just gone." Sol added, voice cracking, her brother pulling her into a side hug.

"I've got you now, I've prayed every day for three years that someone would get a sign that I was out here, guess it worked." He joked, which caused Sol to crack a smile for the first time that evening.

____

Nightfall had now rolled around, the two spending the last hour or two talking about everything that happened, Sol going into heavy detail about the VKs who had joined Auradon Prep.

"Well, speaking of friends, please come and meet mine." He said, which made Sol tilt her head in confusion.

"They may seem like big assholes at first, and they're not ones to trust or forgive. But I'm certain they'd be willing to try." He stated, trying to reason with his sister.

"You are my sister after all." This caused her to nod slowly, agreeing, which wasn't the best idea as they were all pirates who wanted nothing to do with the AKs.

Flaxen grinned as he pulled the girl up onto her feet, dragging her towards a door that had been there for what looked like centuries. The wood almost no longer with us.

Sol found herself taking in a deep breath before her idiotic brother knocked on the door with a certain pattern, chuckling at his little sister, who seemed unimpressed with his choice of words.

"Housekeeping!"

The eroded door flung open, and an intimidating gang of pirates smirked at her presence, except for Harry Hook, who refused to meet the blonde's gaze.

A girl with a mix of turquoise and deep blue braids stood directly in front of them, looking down at Sol, which made her feel small.

"Ah, I've been waiting for you, princess"
