When Delta was just 18 years old she got diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Despite being cleared, it still very much effects her life. She may never be able to have children of her own due to her cancer diagnosis, more than anything in the world...

I'm so glad that you made me a mommy, so glad that you come to me for comfort, talk to me whenever you need to talk about something. Never did I think that I would be given the gift of motherhood, the gift of watching you grow, and watching you smile. For Mother's Day I was in awe when I got to bring you on stage with me, I loved introducing you to the crowd, and having them yell out your name. It may have been a bit of a surprise seeing you get all shy, but just being able to hold you in my arms while being on stage doing the thing that I love to do the most. You mean the world to me baby girl, to hear you say mommy just melts my heart, it's my favorite name, you are the best daughter ever. I know you have never properly had a big birthday party, but I want this birthday to be the best one you've ever had. I love you so much my beautiful princess, mommy wants you to have the best birthday ever, to have the best time celebrating, I want you to just be happy and I wanna see the biggest smile on your face, I love you so much.
