A/N: It's someone's birthday today🥳, and due to time zone differences (and the fact that I have two papers today), this may not be uploaded exactly at 12am, but eh. Anywaysss, everyone, let's wish c3lestial_m00nn a very happy birthday,(happy back to school), and a thank you for being the reason why this chapter isn't published a year later.

  (Also, happy birthday and back to school to everyone this applies to.)

Week 1 Friday:

  As 6pm was approaching, the headmaster came back on stage for one final message. It was a video montage to conclude the orientation camp. Pictures and videos were taken discreetly throughout the week and finally compiled.

  "Oh! Look! That's us on the first day of school!" Hanakõ exclaimed.

  "WHAT THE HELL?! When did you get here?" Osana nearly jumped out of her skin.

  Hanakõ furrowed his eyebrows in faux hurt, "what do you mean? I was always here. Didn't you see me, Raibaru?" Raibaru shook her head sheepishly.

  "Ugh, you two are too engrossed in each other to even notice me. What if I got kidnapped or something?"

  "Who would want to kidnap you?" Osana scoffed.

  "Hm, I suppose I'm too cute to get kidnapped."

  "No you're not!" Osana reached over to smack Hanakõ, but Raibaru was holding her back.

  The video played in the background and only caught the attention of the trio when the students around them started gasping. It was the scene of Ayano and Nemesis-kun absolutely demolishing their competition at the high-element course.

  "Woah, they're so fast..."

  "And kinda cute, no?"

  The people around them marvelled at Ayano and Nemesis-kun superior climbing ability. Hanakõ suppressed the urge to kill. He cheered, "Ayano-senpai is so amazing!" Raibaru nodded along.

  Then, a few more pictures and videos later, they got to the pictures from the board game. A picture of Osana holding up the relationship card and then a picture of Osana holding Raibaru's hand came on screen. Raibaru started to blush profusely, but under the dimly lit gym, her face itself was barely visible. Then, another video of Nemesis and Ayano played.

  "Oh! Nemesis-senpai got the relationship card!" Kokona shouted.

  "I need to choose a partner?" Nemesis asked Megamo who was off screen.

  "Yes. You may ask anyone."

  "Ah," Nemesis turned to Ayano. "will you be my in-game partner?"

  The gym erupted in squeals as students got excited for the ingame relationship of two students they hardly knew.

  "Sure," Ayano replied and Kokona squealed.

  The students in the gym were now cheering.

  Megamo instructed them to roll a total sum of at least 15 for a good relationship. Nemesis-kun took the two dice and handed Ayano one.

  That gained even more cheering from the crowd. Hanakõ clenched his fists until his knuckles were white and his fingernails were digging into his palms. If his fingernails were any longer, he would be drawing blood.
