With the night draped over the ship like a heavy blanket, most of the boys were fast asleep in their rooms, exhausted from the day's events. But Jimin couldn't shake off a sense of uneasiness. His mind was plagued with thoughts about the sirens and the creepy legend the captain had mentioned. He tossed and turned in his bed for a while before he finally couldn't take it anymore. Jimin got out of his bed and quietly snuck out of his room. The soft, silvery light of the stars and moon illuminated the deck as Jimin stood staring at the vast expanse of the sea. His mind was still awhirl with thoughts about the legends of sirens and Isla Azul.
Suddenly, the captain appeared silently next to him, his voice jolting Jimin from his thoughts.
"Can't sleep?" the captain asked with a knowing look.Jimin turns to the captain, a little startled. "Oh... Captain, I didn't hear you come up," he says sheepishly. "Yeah, I just couldn't sleep. My mind is racing, I guess." He sighs softly, leaning against the railing. The captain nods understandingly. "Ah, I see. It can be a bit unsettling, sailing towards an unfamiliar place. What's bothering you, if you don't mind me asking?"Jimin hesitates for a moment, then decides to be honest. "It's just... everything you said about the sirens and Isla Azul. I can't get it out of my head, and it's making me a bit on edge."The captain nods again, his expression a mix of sympathy and concern. "I understand. Those tales can be quite chilling. But you don't have to worry, you know. It's just a legend, after all." Jimin nodes his head in understanding ,he looks at the captain, his expression a mix of worry and curiosity. "How long until we reach the island, Captain?"The caption explains, "We'll reach the island pretty soon, but there's a reason we have to halt the ship until sunrise. There's a lot of ice bergs around these parts, and it's easier for us to navigate with daylight. We don't want to risk bumping into one of those in the dark."The captain glances at his watch, then looks up at the dark, expansive sky. "It's still a few hours before sunrise," he says. "You should try to get some rest while you can." The captain pats Jimin's shoulder softly, offering a reassuring smile. "Good night, son. Don't let those siren's tales get to you too much."Jimin nods, trying to smile back despite his lingering uneasiness. "I'll try, Captain. Thanks," he says softly. The captain gives Jimin another small smile before turning and walking to his cabin. Jimin is left alone once more with the vast expanse of the sea and his thoughts.
Jimin is standing on the deck, his thoughts swirling like the dark waves below when he suddenly hears a faint, melodic noise. It's a soft, almost eerie sound that drifts through the night air. He can't quite make out where the noise is coming from, but it sounds like someone singing a song. Jimin's heart begins to race as a mix of curiosity and nervousness fills him.Jimin stands still, his eyes darting around as he tries to pinpoint the source of the sound. He listens closely, and the song becomes clearer. It's a haunting, beautiful melody, almost like a siren song. Jimin feels a strange mix of fear and fascination as the song continues to fill the air around him.Jimin shakes his head, a part of him wondering if he's just hallucinating. "Must be my imagination..." he mutters to himself, trying to convince himself that the song isn't real. He takes a deep breath and looks out at the sea, trying to distract himself from the persistent, haunting melody.Jimin's heart leaps into his throat as the voice suddenly becomes sharper and clearer. It's as if someone is calling his name, a soft, siren-like sound that seems to surround him. Startled, he tries to take a step back, but his foot slips on the edge of the deck, and before he can even cry out, Jimin tumbles over the railing and into the cold, inky waters of the sea below.Jimin is plunged into the freezing water, the shock of the cold taking his breath away. He struggles to get his bearings, his heart racing in his chest as he looks around frantically for a way back to the ship. The water is dark and thick, making it difficult to see.The cold water closes in around Jimin, its weight and darkness claustrophobic. He tries to swim, but it's like fighting against a living, breathing force. The cold seeps into his bones, numbing his limbs. Jimin feels a sense of terror and panic help, but his voice is lost in the vastness of the dark waters.
The water feels endless, a vast, inky abyss with no escape. Jimin's lungs scream for air, but he can't seem to find the surface, no matter how hard he flaps his arms and legs. His vision starts to swim as he struggles, the fear and cold almost overwhelming He looks around, taking in the vastness of the ocean, and for a moment, he just... accepts his fate. In that suspended moment, he sees his life flash before his eyes – his friends, the good times, the struggles, and the memories of his deceased family. Strangely, a sense of calm washes over him, and he finds himself giving in to the watery embrace, sinking back into the depths of the sea.Just as Jimin is surrendering to the sea, a strong hand suddenly closes around his arm, interrupting his descent. He looks up, dazed and disoriented, his vision blurry from the water and exhaustion, but what he sees makes his heart lurch. Standing above him, pulling him out of the water, is a figure with eyes that seem to pierce straight into his heart. They are the same eyes he has seen in his nightmares, deep and dark, staring straight at him. Jimin's mind races with a mix of fear and confusion. With a jolt, Jimin's mind struggles to understand what is happening. The sight of the familiar but terrifying eyes and the unexpected saving all combine to send him into a state of shock. Before he can fully process what's happening, he feels himself slipping away into unconsciousness, the darkness closing in around him like a soft, suffocating blanket. The last thing he hears is a voice, soft and almost melodic, echoing in his head. It seems to float through the air, both comforting and unsettling at the same time.
