The King Of Fighters DESTINY (Kyo Kusanagi x Reader)

Chapter 5: RECEPTION

The long waited for the whole paparazzi  are waiting for the contestants to walk in the red carpet to sign up for the KOF.

 Billy has entered as the guest star as the door opens to reveal Kyo's team who entered the Red Carpet. The audience are taking pictures as they  walked down the red carpet.

Up next was Team Athena formed by Athena Asamiya and with Sie Kensou and Chin Gentsai, the martial arts master.

Benimaru mused. "She's pretty popular." He then notice the old geezer drinking his gor. "Hey look, Kyo! Check out that funny looking old man with a white beard."

Kyo hit him on the head. "Don't be stupid. His name is Chin Gentsai, the master of Chinese Kenpo."

Chin turns to Kyo and his friends. "Greetings sir, these are my teammates, Benimaru Nikaido and Goro Daimon."

Kyo and Daimon bow respectively before forcing Benimaru's head down with them.

"It great to see you again."

Chin chuckles and brushed his beard. "No need to be so formal."

Kyo smiles. "We're honored to be able to participate in the same tournament."

"Good to see you, too. I'm just here to let my disciples over there to gain some experience."

Kyo nodded and Benimaru notice some two soldiers  came to the entrance. Clark Still and Ralf Jones.

"Look at those dumb looking soldiers." Benimaru whispered.

Ralf then glares at Benimaru who hen glares back before walking in another direction.

"Wow, so many of this year's participants look tough." Benimaru boasted. "I hear that the American Sports Team are entering as well. Too bad for them, though. 'Cause I'm going to beat every one of them. Ha! I''m getting pumped."

Kyo deadpanned and shook his head behind him.

"Well then, I'll see you at the ring." Chin said. "Please don't be too hard on us."

"No need, we feel very honored." Kyo replied.

Meanwhile Queen's team arrived on the spotlight, then Ryo  arrived too scolding his sister Yuri to come home which she doesn't. Robert gets in front in between trying to calm down the situation. Yuri stuck her tongue at her brother and walk away then ended up bumping into a villain Chang Koehan who threatens to watch out or get hurt.

Yuri gets scared and throws an apple at him which was slice and dice by Choi Bounge.  Ryo came to grab Yuri by the arm asking that they allow weapons in KOF which was answered yes. However their leader scold them to stop making trouble. The Leader name Kim Kaphwan.

While they got registered, Kyo  then sees Terry and his team Fatal Fury enter the red carpet when Terry glance and Kyo. They both have intense fire power as Terry sign his team name, much to Billy's  suspicions that they were the ones causing trouble after someone throws them a flash smoke and escape.

Afterwords, the audience then  awed at the new fighters and then Kyo was shock to see none other than you with Team Saber-Sword walking down. You then halted in front of Terry who was arguing with Billy.

You tap Terry on the shoulder with your sword handle who looks startled and then moves out of the way as an apology as you registered your team name on the paper.

When you glance up to Billy who seems to have sweat beads like your presence have  taken his whole body pressure down to the temperature of heat.

Kyo seems to analyzed your demeanor, yet he can't help but to feel his heart beat seeing another person who can use fire. And yet the way he sees you, you look very beautiful.

You were expressionless as you turn away and  when you over heard some commotion.

"Andy!"

"Mai?! Why are you here?"

"Why does it bother you? You're entering too you know!"

Andy gawks. "But...Okay, just go home."

"Then promise me that you will always take me with you." Mai demands.

"Huh?! Are you my carry-on item or something?"

"Shut up!" Mai hits Andy with a fan and scoffs. "How dare you compare me to some carry-on item!"

"Huh? I didn't say that."

"But that's what you think!"

"Please just listen to me."

"No excuses!"

"Okay, I got it!"

"Why don't you both just calm down?" Joe picking his ears.

"YOU JUST STAY OF IT!" Mai and Andy shouted at Joe who got startled.

Kyo looks to you and he looked around for you, but didn't see you anywhere. You must have slipped away when those two love birds started quarreling. Time to start his plan. "Benimaru, it's time for a hero to help that beautiful lady over there."

Benimaru stops talking to Daimon and was awe struck by Mai's lovley chest. "Wow~....Ah! So big! And so beautiful~!" He walks over there and play the big boy act. "Hey, you!  Hoe dare you insult a nice body- I mean, a nice young lady?" he change the subject.

Mai seems mused and Andy seems to get jealous.  "Mai, enough is enough."

"Just leave me alone!" Mai snaps.

"Don't be afraid, beautiful. I'm here to save you." Benimaru charms at her.

Mai smiles at him. "And what's your name, handsome?"

"Yeah! Who are you suppose to be, broomhead?!" Andy insulted him.

"Yeah Broomhead, where did you come from?" Joe asked.

"What did you call me, you bastards?!" Benimaru get annoyed. "How dare you call me a broomhead! You wanna pick a fight?!"

While everyone seems to focus their attention to Benimaru, Kyo sees that Terry is walking out the exit, probably where you headed earlier. Billy went to follow Terry, but he  was stop by Kyo.

 "Hey excuse me. You're the host right? Can't you just help my friend out?"

Billy growls  and went over there to get into the argument.

Meanwhile Kyo ponders that both you and Terry are up to something and perhaps he better take a look at what KOF has on stored.

Terry is out for revenge. You on the other hand... just what are you doing here that made you come here in the first place?

He better follow you before you get yourself in deep trouble.
