Chapter 10: GENERATOR

Crawling in the air duct was dark and tiring. Kyo was making sure you weren't peeved  by Benimaru's pervy thoughts about your lovely ass that was in face.

The broom head coughs from the dust. "Hey, just what are we going to do now, Kyo?"

"To look for a way out." Kyo answered. "I can't believe a proud guy like you got caught so easily."

"But we  were in the middle of a party-"

"You're careless. And to think you call yourself the number one greatest fighter in the universe? " Kyou mocks.

"Who would've thought they would be so sneaky like that!? Besides you're in no position to judge me. You left us and escaped on your own with that girl with an nice ass! HMph!"

"I beg your pardon?!" You over heard that.

Kyo kicks Benimaru in the face. "If I didn't help you, you'd still be attacking people like some stray  dog!"

"WHO'RE YOU CALLING A STRAY DOG?!"

"You of course!"

"No, you are!"

"Barking dogs seldom bite." Kyo retorted.

"WHAT?!"

"Oi!" You chided their argument. "If your done squabbling like honking ducks at least try and help out to where these air ducts lead."

You continue to crawl but bump into a corner with a yelp. Kyo gasp and placed an hand on top of your head. "Careful."

"Sorry, dead end."

"Try turning to the right."

"Okay."

Just as when you started to resume a way out, Kyo hears a telepathic call from Athena.

"Kyo! Kyo!"

Kyo stops you with a wrist as you turn to him in question.  However, Benimaru bumps to Kyo's ass. "Hey, what gives?! Don't just stop all of a sudden!"

"Shh!" Kyo shushed him and connects the telepathy with Athena.

"Kyo! It's Athena!"

"Athena?  How is it with you over there?" Kyo asks.

"There was a bit of a problem, but we're okay now. Just be careful going against the rest of the missing fights."

"Yeah, they see to be under the influence of the Black Crystals." Kyo stated. "It which case, if we can destroy the Black Crystals everyone will come to their sense."

"I can sense the dark spiritual energy that is is not far from where you are. It's to your 10 o'clock about 200 meters ahead."

"Got it."

Kyo pats your shoulder. "Keep moving forward, (Y/n).  On your 10 o'clock, 200 meters."

"Alright." You nodded.

You did as you were told. Following his instructions that Athena told him.

Kyo then tells you to turn left at the end until you keep going.

"This is driving me crazy!  I'm covered in dust." Benimaru complains.

"Be quiet." Kyo scolds him.

Once you reach the end Athena told Kyo that it's right down your destination.

"(Y/n), below you."

You nodded and used your cosmic fire to punch the air duct freely. Kyo scoots front of you and jumped down before looking back to you who held his arms out to you.

"Jump down. I'll catch you."  Kyo promised with a reassuring smile.

You trusted him as you hop out of the air duct and landed in Kyo's arms in bridle style. Kyo puts you down when you look to his eyes for a minute before scurrying away when you feel your whole body is hot, blushing mess. Kyo smirks before chuckling to himself while matching your steps.

The others follow you two when you stop by near the hollow fan where you see your brothers and the others you do not know. Kyo does, it was Ryo and Robert, guarding the Black Crystal's Generator.

"Asben... Niro." You whispered.

Benimaru raised  a brow. "Hey, they look angry. Do you owe them some money? Ah, you must have put your hands on that Lolita girl." He points at you teasingly. "I'm telling Yuki -"

"The Black Crystals have made them go berserk!" Kyo exclaims.

"EH?"

Niro, Asben, Ryo and Robert stood up being under controlled.

"Berserk? Really? Hey Robert!"

Without answering, Robert shoots  Haoh Shoukou Ken and Benimaru as you click your swords and the destroy the blade fans while saving him..

The battle begins when Asben attack you with his sword as Benimaru did the same to and attack him, kicking his jaws.

Ryo and Niro are up next and Beni was stupid to forget that their under the control of the Black Crystals.

"I'll take you both on too! I am the strongest one here, after all!" He brags. The broomhead starts to charge forward at Ryo, but instantly got knocked out by Niro in the process and hit by the walls.

You and Kyo  saw him knocked down and now it's just three on four to destroy the generators.

"Daimon, you destroy the statue while (Y/n) and I handle these four." Kyo instructs as Daimon nodded.

You first fought Asben and Niro since you don't want to hurt your brothers you had to slow them down while Kyo fights Ryo and Robert, but he was cut off by Benimaru who had recovered and was pissed off.

"How dare you scratch my beautiful face!" He growls. "I won't forgive you!"

He starts to attack Robert with his power but Robert absorbs his power and electrocuted Benimaru until Kyo had to save the idiot with a high kick.

"I told you they've gone berserk! Just keep Ryo and Asben away." Kyo orders.

"No way! I'm going to take him down!" Benimaru charge at Robert.

Kyo sighs. "That idiot!" he then focus on Ryo when he saw you trying to defend yourself with two of your brothers.

While everyone is focus on their opponents, Kyo burns Ryo before helping you defeat Asben and Niro. You manage to  headlock Asben's neck before you elbow him in the back and use handcuffs to cage him to the pipes as Kyo punches Niro to knock out and kick him to the walls.

"Daimon, destroy the statue! Hurry!" Kyo shouts.

Daimon nodded and went to the Generators. Using his special attack he smash the grounds and  mess with the programs.

"(Y/n)! With me!" Kyo motions you.

"Right!"

You and Kyo join forces using fire and destroy the snake statues to free everyone from the black crystals.

You see Ryo and Robert are back to normal along with Asben and Niro. You run and remove the cuffs and check theirs pulse. In your relief, they're okay.

 "(Y/n)..." Kyo place his hand on your shoulder, squeezing reassuringly.  "They'll be okay."

You turn to Kyo and nodded. "I hope so..."

Kyo smiles kindly to you. "C'mon, we gotta make sure that everyone else is alright."

You nodded again as Kyo held his hand out as you took it when he pulled you up as Daimon and Benimaru carry Ryo, Robert and your brothers out to find the others.

You look to Kyo who didn't let your hand go and you feel like your heart burst again by his warm touches.
