Chapter 8: SHADOW OF EVIL

Benimaru has been thrown off the ring making Team Sports win the first round. He was about to take his revenge when Kyo pulls him back but was slapped away angrily. "Let me go! There's something wrong with that guy! How did he get back up?! He must've been on steroids! Let me make a complaint!"

He was going back in the ring but this time Kyo stops him from being such an idiot if his team loses.

"Don't! The Orochi Clan may be behind all of this."

"Huh? For real?"

Kyo looks to Daimon. "Daimon, be careful." Daimon nodded and head to the ring. The bell rings as the second match has started.

He sumo's his winning and Brain has been knocked out  when he strangle him, and brain has past out, making him the winner.

"Wow, he really is strong." You commented.

Kyo hums. "Daimon trains the best sumo fights in Judo."

The next fighter from the American Sports Team is Lucky Glauber. Daimon broke his leg with his foot, but it seems that his opponent doesn't seem to care that if it's broken or not. Lucky dashes with his basketball and dribble his ball making a jump to throw directly at Daimon.

He was hit in the square and got knocked out. The count down begins if he doesn't get up.

"Oh no." You begin to worry.

"Daimon!" Kyo shouted.

Three seconds has run out until Daimon  grab his ankle  and got up and swipe Lucky's feet away and slam him down multiple times while he thrashes. Lucky is trapped under Daimon's ground grappling technique. Keeping him under his cage and the countdown drops to zero, Daimon comes back for another win!

Kyo's team cheering and you applaud.

It was now up to Kyo to finish the final round. "Well I think it finally my  turn."

You nodded. "Good luck out there."

Kyo smiles genuinely at you before throwing you a wink before he walks up to Daimon and pat his back reassuringly. "I'll take care of the rest."

They high five as Daimon join to you and Benimaru's side.

Kyo then sees Master Chin Gentsai who nodded at him as he nodded back. And the match of the first bell rings as Kyo faces off Heavy D when Kyo sense the power of Orochi brain washed him.

"I don't know how you got the power of Orochi, but it won't work on me. You'll definitely lose for sure."

Silence.

Kyo sighs and smirks. "You probably don't have enough brains to process that."

Since there's no point in talking out the posses Heavy D, Kyo made a landing strike to use his fire. You seen this before when you accidentally fought with him. You could sense with your own fire inside of him.

Heavy D burst out Kyo's fire and distinguish his own power.

Kyo lits up his finger in a taunting manner. "Ha! You're gonna end up well done. Do you want to continue?" He blows out his candle.

Heavy D laughs like a maniac and stomp his foot with pure force as Kyo resumes his fighting position.

They both charge in at each other throwing fist. Like in the Tekken tournament.  The force of that punch pushes Kyo to the corner and the Heavy D when to punch him, but Kyo move away just in time. Heavy D punches repeatedly while Kyo blocks it with his arms until he was getted in the chest and to the face throwing him off balance.

"Oh my!" Benimaru panics.

"Kusanagi!" You hoped he didn't lose and then much to your relief Kyo was saved when he caught himself at the rings corner pillars and sadly landed back on the ring.

Kyo twist  left and right cracking his neck. "You have some serious power. Let's try that again." He motion his hands , taunting him.

Heavy D charge but was met by the corner. Kyo's plan was to make him punch any corner and then dodge successfully. "Hey, what's the point of punching the corner post, huh?" he mocks.

He did it again and Kyo made the perfect opportunity to finish him off. Heavy D got his fist stuck and Kyo made the impact and throw him off before throwing his whole body the smash him.

Heavy D got up, Kyo then activate his fire throwing at his direction. "Eat this!" He punches and kicks him off before using his final attack; Ura 108 Shiki * Orochinagi. "And take this!"

With the final attack Heavy D is down.

Kyo Kusanagi wins!

You applied by his victory.  You have now  four teams that will be advancing to the semi-finals.

Which will be held on the cruise ship.

So speaking of teams. Where are your boys?

You decided to call them on your phone. You waited for Asben to pick up, but all it was sending was voicemail.

You narrow your eyes in suspicions as you try calling him again. Still nothing. You tried Niro, and still no answer.

Something was wrong. Usually they always pick up. You grew concern that something must've happen to them.

Forgetting that everyone around you are evacuating the stadium you didn't notice that Kyo was standing behind  you in worry. He decided to get your attention. "(Y/n), is everything alright?"

You gasp when your heart leaps by Kyo's voice and turn around to  face him. "Kusanagi...."

"What's going on? Are you okay?" He asked.

You frown slightly  and shook your head. "I don't think so...."

Kyo placed his hand on your shoulder. "Tell me what's wrong."

You look up to him again. "My brothers.....they're not answering they're calls. They were taking too long in the restroom, but it turns out that it's been ten whole minutes. It must be the Orochi's doing. They've been kidnapped..."

Kyo looked to you in pity as he walked closer to you to rub your back. You sucked up your tears, not wanting to cry in front of Kyo. He looks around if your brothers have vanished, then you are all alone with nowhere to go.

"Why don't you come with me?" Kyo suggested.

You were surprised by his suggestion. "Come with you? Uh...I don't know..."

"C'mon, I  promise I won't do anything weird."

"I still don't know..."

Kyo sighs and made an oath. "I will make sure to look after you, when we find your brothers."

"You...will?" you asked.

Kyo smiles. "I never lie." He offers you a hand. "So will you trust me?"

You look are his hand for a bit.

"Would this lovely strong, beautiful lady do the honors to company this handsome smart fighter to escort you to safety?" He added with charm.

You found this exiting. So you decided to humor him and place your small hand to his big ones.

"By all means, lead the way, Kusanagi."

"No need for formalities, call me Kyo." He smiled.

You smiled back. "Very well then, Kyo."

Kyo leads you out when he saw  a few men in black but then you and him were greeted by Ralf. "A message from our commander. Get on board early and wait for the moment."

He holds a device and Kyo nodded when he took it from him.

He turns back to you and take your hand to head to the crews boat.

"Hey, where's this cruiser? Take us there!"
