Hey, everyone sorry for the late update. Moving sucks, but I am almost done. Due to that, I have to say thank you to my Co-writer. NaLu, you are amazing. Can't wait to get my new place set up. Anyway, here is the next chapter for your reading pleasure.    (:

Happy Reading..😁

BAKUGO'S POV

I froze when I heard his voice. How the hell is he here? Why is he here? "Masao, get in the stroller, please." He didn't fight me on the decision, but he didn't take his eyes off Eijiro the entire time as he crawled into the front and grabbed his seatbelt, clipping it in place. Kimi was still in the back of the stroller, now sleeping.

"You're just going to ignore me?" Eijiro scoffed, stepping beside me. Now that he had moved, I was easily able to stand up and turn the stroller toward Midoriya.

"Hanako, go with Midoriya." I pushed her and the stroller toward Midoriya. "Take them wherever. Keep your phone on you and the volume on. I'll call you in a little while." Without pushing Kenzo off him, he nodded, stood up, and managed to start pushing the stroller while my six-year-old clung to him, keeping his head down and his eyes closed.

When they were far enough away, and only then did I turn around and face my ex-husband, who hasn't changed since the day I saw him last. "How the hell did you know we were here?" I reset the kids' watch, I haven't posted anything online because I didn't want the world to know my home was empty, I blocked him on everything, I've gotten a new phone, and I don't have any of my vehicles, which means he couldn't have tracked us here.

"Your parents," he said, looking around the table at the baskets still half full of food. I hated telling the kids to leave before they were finished, but they didn't need to be here for this, and they didn't need to hear all of this.

"And why the fuck are you here?" I snapped, combining the leftover, unbitten food into one basket to take with me in case the kids were still hungry.

He grabbed my arm and tried to turn me toward him, but I shook him off. He clicked his tongue and backed off. "Because I missed my family. Leaving like that was stupid, and I know it was. I messed up, Katsuki."

"No, you didn't," I snapped, turning back to him. I kept my voice low as I spoke, hoping I wouldn't draw in a crowd. "You leaving was the best thing that ever happened to us. I may make less money, but I have more money now. I get to spend time with my kids and ensure they're happy, doing whatever hobbies that they want and wearing whatever the hell they want to wear."

He rolled his eyes. "I get that, but I also deserve to be a part of their life. And yours."

I scoffed. "I may not be the best person, but I don't recall doing anything shitty enough to have you in my life again." He cringed, taking a small step back. "And you know what? The kids don't want you, either. Did you not just ask about Masao's dress, which made him so happy when he had gotten it earlier today? Did you see the way Kenzo clung to Midoriya just to avoid looking at you? Fuck off." I tossed the empty baskets into the trash, earning a scowl from the parents around us because of my language. I sent them an apologetic smile.

"They're my kids. And you know what? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with how Midoriya was holding Kenzo."

Absolutely fucking not.

I sighed, tossing the rest of the food. If they're still hungry, I can buy them something else. I grabbed my ex-husband's hand and dragged him toward the side of the building, where there were less people.
