Hello everyone, yes, I know this is the last chapter for your reading pleasure, but it will be here if and when you decide to read it again.

Happy Reading     (:

MIDORIYA'S POV

"Fuck," Tenya cursed, dumping his plate into the trash. "Can't you do anything right?"

I've been working on breakfast for two hours, and he won't even tell me why he hates it. "I can make something else," I offered, heading to the fridge.

"Don't fucking bother," he snapped. "But if I don't get to eat, neither do you." He then grabbed my plate and also dumped it in the trash. Honestly, it was a good call. I think I'm too nervous to eat anything anyway, and if I try, I'll surely throw it back up.

Today is our wedding day.

The day I've been dreading since I said yes last year.

After saying yes, I tried to get away, but he found me within a day, and since then, I've come to accept my fate.

I'll be with Tenya until I die.

I dream about getting away. I started over in a small town where nobody knew who I was and where they didn't know my past. I've dreamed of him dying and of me dying. I've dreamed of him finally getting bored with me and just tossing me on the street.

I've dreamed of living a life I love and having a family.

But that's not what happened.

None of it ever happened.

---------

It was awful. Listening to him read his vows in front of everyone at the altar had me in tears, but not because they were sweet. I mean, they were if he had meant them. Then, he dropped the bombshell, saying that we had to meet his girlfriend at the doctor's before our flight tomorrow. She was pregnant, and the baby would be coming home with Tenya and me in the end. According to him, that was the main reason he cheated on me. He loves me, but we can't have kids together.

It was a lie, and I know it, but nobody else knew he was cheating on me, which means they all thought we were a happy family who found a lovely surrogate.

I've dreamt of having four beautiful kids, each with a different personality, but loving them all the same.

I don't want to bring a kid into this. Bringing a kid into Tenya's path is a stupid idea, but what am I supposed to do? Say no?

After the wedding, on the way to the reception, I asked him, "How long have you known she was pregnant? Why didn't you tell me sooner? Putting it your vows nearly made me sick, Tenya." I was quiet so that the driver couldn't hear us.

Tenya put up the divider before answering. "I've known for a few weeks. I didn't tell you sooner because you weren't going to use it as an excuse not to marry me. Besides, I like keeping you on your toes." He pulled me into his lap and grabbed something from his pocket. The next thing I knew, I was holding a picture of an ultrasound. His hand tightens around my throat, and he squeezes. Leaning toward my ear, he whispers, "Here's to our New Beginnings."

"Dad?" I sat up abruptly, opening my eyes. I was panting for air, and everything was out of focus. "Dad? Are you okay?"
