Nathan raced into the building, blanking the gothic opulence surrounding it. Lily was worth confessing to. She was quixotic. Beautiful. Perfect. Complex. Intelligent. He couldn't wait to kiss her perfect face. Her plump lips. Her gargantuan eyes coupled with their long lashes.
The house creaked and as he laid each quivering foot down, a boom sounded and a shudder filled his body.
"Lily. Perfect Lily. This is for Lily. She'll be my girlfriend by tomorrow."
He was petrified.***
Meanwhile, Maddy's limp body was clutched tightly by a shrieking, quivering, sobbing Lily. This really was the end. The dolls were grasping her school trousers ripping the fabric whilst chanting their sinister rhyme. Mama mama. Painstakingly slowly they grasped Lily's writhing body and Maddy's unmoving one and cut into their skin. Lily was backed against the door holding Maddy beside her. As they took hold of her throat, dripping with perspiration, Lily knew she was dead. One last scream. Her throat was raspy and wracked with sobs. "Goodbye cruel world" she whimpered, sucking in air.
