Chapter 40/Season Finale

Asahi: Ok, it's time for what you've been waiting for Asahi. You finally get to go on a date with the demon king himself. Oh, how so wonderful I can spend time with the demon king alone.
Vicki: What are you dressed up for?
Asahi: I get the honor of going on a date with the demon king.
Vicki: How did that happen?
Asahi: Don't worry about how I pulled it off, just know that it's happening.
Vicki: Hey, so how are you holding up on Toru and Kya deaths.
Asahi:(gasps)

Kei: Make sure that you don't tell any of the lower ranks about Toru and Asahi.

Kei: I don't want them freaking out when we're almost close to defeating the remaining gods that are left. I know lower two still feels bad about their deaths.

Asahi: I tend not to talk about that. I saw them both die with my own eyes. They both died knew that they were in love with each other.
Vicki: I know, and I'm sure Zika feels the same way. I mean he was in love with her as well.
Asahi: Yea, but I never saw them as a couple at all. Anyway, I'm going to finish getting ready.

Kei: I'm glad you both decided to join me here today.
Toru: My lord I wanted to say that we both apologize for getting ourselves killed in battle. You once said, "if we die we're considered weak". Those words that you said to us it stayed with me all this time.
Kya: Yes, we both appreciate for everything you've done for us for 15 years and we want to so our gratitude by staying by your side for however long you want us to stay.
Kei: I do appreciate you both for all of you have done apart of Legion as lower ranks demons. Yes you are lower ranks of Legion, but the performance you both put on against a god with outstanding.
Toru: My lord, I'm not understanding what you mean.
Kei: During your battle against the god you all face a couple days ago I witnessed every second of it.
Kya: How you wasn't there the entire time as I recall my lord.
Kei: You are correct, but I could still see the battle. I can see everything my demons can do even your battles. You both died fighting your asses off. Toru, you used an immense power that I never knew existed called berserk. You died because of that power. And Kya, I'm sure that Asahi told you, but you did indeed did get cut in half and died from your injuries. Aside of that Kya I saw the power you possessed and it was nothing I've seen before. Both you outperformed lower rank one by a long shot and for that you both will be rewarded.
Toru: My lord, I don't know what to say?
Kya: Thank you my lord.
Kei: Your reward with be you both will be promoted as upper ranks, for your outstanding job in battle. Now, your second reward is you two choice. So, what do you both want?
Toru: My me being move as an upper rank is enough for me my lord.
Kei: As you wish Toru. Kya?
Kya: I... don't know my lord, but I do have a question.
Kei: what is it?
Kya: Is possible for you to kill anyone in Legion.
Kei: Of course, I mean I was the one who created Legion. Why do you ask?
Kya: Well, it's about my reward and there's someone I want dead in Legion.
Kei: And who will that be?
Kya: How should I put this well it's someone from the upper ranks.
Kei: The upper ranks you say. I'm guessing you don't like someone in the upper ranks.?
Kya: Yes. And another part of my request is there's someone I want here to join Legion.
Kei: Someone else that you want to join Legion. Who will that be?
Kya: It's my brother. He was powerful demon this everyone used to talk about. He fought along side the very first demon king.
Kei:(Interesting.) He must've been very powerful, so what happened to him.
Kya: After the war, he went into retirement and lived a normal life as a demon. 20 years ago, another demon came and attacked my home in a bit of a rage. My brother fought the best he could, but he lost majority of his powers after the war so he couldn't compete against him, and that demon is known as the upper 2 demon Hayato. So in conclusion my entire request for my second reward is I want my brother back and I want Hayato dead.
Kei: That's some request Kya. Well, if I agree with your request are you willing to give up your position as an upper rank.
Kya: Yes I would give up my position for that to happen.
Kei: As you wish then. Now as far your brother I can't travel that far back in time to bring him into the present timeline, but I can resurrect him when he was in his prime.
Kya: Yes, I would appreciate that my lord.
Kei: Alright, I would like to see more of you as an upper rank, but it's your decision. It will take some time.
Kya: Thank you my lord.
Kei: Of course. You both are dismissed. Oh by the way, when you both died, you both did confess your feelings for one another.
Both:(gasps)
Kei: You both are perfect for each other so why not.
Toru: Ah, my lord I find very concerning that you care about love interests.
Kei: I mean I was married once, so I don't find it concerning at all.
Kya: Yea, but you don't look like the kind of demon king to actually care about that stuff now.
Zitia: Now lower ranks, you can't judge a book by its cover. My lord have we decided where in the upper ranks Toru will be placed.
Kei: I haven't had any thought about that yet. Anyway, you both are dismissed and give that relationship a try you two.
Zitia: My lord?
Kei:Huh?
Zitia: Don't you think that you should give it another try.
Kei: Why would I?
Zitia: Why not? I don't want you to dwell on your last wife's death, because I know that's the reason why won't date or care about anyone else's feelings for you. I prime example is Asahi, aren't you both supposed to be on a date?
Kei: Oh, that's right. I totally forgot about that.
Zitia: My lord, you didn't forget you just don't want to go because you don't see her the way she sees you.
Kei: I'm sure lower 4 has no problem of seeing me killing demons or gods.
Zitia: That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about her being in love with you. It's obvious you chose to not see what she sees. I do agree that she cares less about you being a killer because she's done the same thing, but you shouldn't shut out others feelings. The reason why I'm saying this is because I have feelings for you also my lord, but I what i want you to do is to go on this date with lower 4 because I'm sure she's going to confess to you as well.
Kei:(sighs) Alright fine.
