Sona's POV-
I woke up in the morning and realised that Chris was gone . Yesterday Chris came into my room and we spent the entire night together , with Chris carefully laying on my belly and trying not to hurt the baby with the weight of his head. Soon we both fell asleep. Next morning, when I woke up Chris wasn't with me . I didn't know where he went, neither did he inform me before leaving, guess I wasn't that important to him . I woke up carefully trying not to put too much strain on my belly. And saw a letter not far from me . It said " Going to receive the prince of Armageddon. Be back soon. Take care of my baby - Love, Dada" The prince of Armageddon was going to arrive?! I have heard that he's a ruthless killer who doesn't like anyone going against him. And if a special guest is arriving in the kingdom , I must get ready soon and do my maid duties, before anyone else comes screaming here. I took a shower and wore my maid clothes , stood in front of the mirror and rubbed my little bump , the baby was still sleeping , otherwise she would have kicked me back. Wait why did I say 'she' ? I guess my maternal instincts started to kick in . It really felt like I'm carrying a cute, little baby girl. But will Chris accept a baby girl? He needs an heir - a male as his successor . So will he love the baby the same way as he's doing now , if it's a girl?
" What are you doing here , bitch! Don't you know you have work to do?" My sister came in yelling and screaming at the top of her voice . I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realize when she came in. Thankfully I was standing with my back facing towards her and she didn't see my hands on my belly. I turned around to face her , " Yes, I'm coming" I said . To which she responded " you better start cooking, the guest is already here" I nodded and followed her until she went her way and I went to the kitchen to cook.
Chris' POV -
I woke up early in the morning and gave my baby a good morning kiss. The baby was still asleep otherwise I would have felt atleast three to four kicks by now. She's a very happy baby and loves to kick and move around a lot. Yes, we're having a princess. I knew it the moment I touched Sona's belly for the first time . I have always dreamt of having a baby girl and here she is , my , no our miracle princess. I did not tell Sona because I didn't know if she would want a baby girl. What if she was hoping that she is carrying a baby boy , a potential heir and would marry me because the baby will be the future king . And knowing that the baby she's carrying is a girl , what if she tries to hurt her? I cannot let that happen so I decided against telling her. Nobody can harm my princess , not even her own mother.
Suddenly, my personal guard came in looking for me . Only he knew that I would spend nights with Sona , fu*king her , sometimes in my room and sometimes in the attic. He said that the prince of Armageddon, Louis is here and will be competing against me. He's my biggest nemesis. My guard also said that my father wants me present at the Royal court to welcome Louis. I hate him, but I have to do my princely duties and keep the support of an ally nation intact. I gestered my guard to go , I kissed my princess for the last time before leaving and left the attic with a note beside Sona to read after she wakes up.
The Royal Court-
I reached the royal court and Louis was already there. He looked at me and said -
Louis- Look who's here - prince Chris ! Someone is fashionably late. He then looked at my father and continued "... Is this how the Kingdom of Artemis welcomes their guest?
Chris - Unlike you, people have lots of work to do other than poking others. And you should be grateful that I'm even here to see you , if it weren't for the competition I wouldn't even come to see you at all, let alone welcome you
Louis- ohh , yes , you are right , I'm grateful but when I will beat you in front of everyone , I will be grateful to your poor performance (smirks)
Before I could say something my father intervened and said "let's cool the heat with some food and drinks . Louis I'm sure you must be tired have some food and then Chris will show you your room "
Louis - Yes your majesty , after you
I thought that he is not only cruel , but also very very deceptive. He totally won over my father after poking me. I followed them to the dining area and we all sat with my father sitting in the centre and we two sat next to him on the opposite sides facing each other.
Sona's POV-
Me and the other maids quickly cooked before I went to serve the food at the dining table . I honestly did not want to go anywhere that killer because I'm carrying a baby. But as fate had it , I went to serve him food. I was carrying a lot of food in bowls that I didn't have the time to look at the special guest , Louis. I placed the plates and the cutlery and started serving the food " Hey , honey is that really you?" I looked up after I heard a familiar voice only to see a familiar face "Louis? You? Wait, are you the...." I asked " Yes I'm the prince of Armageddon, Louis " he replied and stood up , before he lifted me from my glutes. I was so, so happy to see him and all those rumors about him were rubbish, I know him , I know what kind of a person he is. He then carefully put me down and looked at my belly for a few seconds before hugging me, but I was too happy that I didn't notice it. We hugged each other , for a long time that we forgot that there are people around us. Suddenly his majesty interrupted us by saying " You two seem to know each other very well" " Yes, we have a history together" Louis replied breaking the hug , but still keeping the contact " And if you have no objection, I would like to take Sona out" Louis continued. Before His majesty could say something, Chris interrupted and said -
Chris - I have an objection, you cannot take her out
Louis- I thought so, why didn't YOU object till now
His Majesty - You are our guest , you can do whatever you like
Chris- But dad! Sona has to do her cleaning and etc duties , how can she leave with him like that?
( Sona (thinks) so I'm still just a servant with no respect in his eyes, atleast Louis respects me)
His majesty - There are hundreds of maids in the palace, it's ok if Louis wants to take one , Chris
Louis- You're right your majesty, we'll go before someone interrupts us again
I looked at Chris before leaving with Louis and he obviously did not like it. He had a weird expression on his face, someone else might think that he was jealous , but I knew it's not jealousy because he doesn't love me to get jealous for me. He just simply didn't like his possession being taken away.
