JOSIE AND THE OTHER ALEXANDRIANS SURROUNDED THE gate after cleaning up all of the bodies. The brunette had her bow and arrows around her shoulder, she was planning on leaving and going out to hunt while they waited for Glenn, Rick, and the others to return.

Rosita climbed down the guard post and stood next to Josie as Deanna took her place before she gasped.

"What is it, Deanna?" Josie asked.

"Open the gate!" someone shouted from outside the gate, but Josie knew that voice all too well.

      Rick.

      "Open the gate!"

No one moved, so Josie and Michonne both pushed past everyone and opened the gate. The brunette's eyes widened at the sight of the walker herd chasing after Rick. As soon as he ran through, Josie slammed the gate shut right as the walkers arrived.

She took a step back, hearing the growls as she looked over her shoulder, her eyes landing on Rick, who was leaning against the wall and breathing heavily.

Josie walked over to him, placing her hand on his back. "Hey, are you okay?"

Rick nodded before he noticed the blood on her shirt, so he grabbed her shoulder. "What about you? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Josie replied. "We were attacked. People came over the walls and began killing everyone."

Everyone soon moved away from the walls and met up in the middle of the street, surrounding Rick as he began to speak. The walkers were still growling outside of the walls, trying their hardest to get in. Josie stood in between Maggie and Jessie, her arms crossed.

"You can hear it," Rick began. "Some of you saw it. They got back here, half of them. Still enough to surround us twenty deep. Look, I know you're scared, you haven't seen anything like this. You haven't been through anything like this. But we're safe now."

"The panel the truck hit seems intact," Maggie added. "We reinforced it, just in case."

"Either way, that wall's gonna hold together," Rick continued speaking. "Can you? The others, they're gonna be back."

"They're gonna be back," Rosita confirmed.

"Daryl, Abraham, Sasha," Rick said. "They have vehicles, they're gonna lead 'em away, just like the others. And Glenn and Nicholas are gonna walk through the front gate after. They know what they're doing, and we know what we need to do. We keep noise to a minimum, pull our blinds at night. Even better, keep the lights out. We try to make this place as quiet as a graveyard. See if they move on."

"This place is a graveyard," a woman spoke up.

"The quarry broke open and those walkers were heading this way," Aaron announced. "All of them. The plan that Rick put into place stopped that from happening. He got half of them away. I was out there recruiting with Daryl. I wanted to try and get into a cannery and scavenge, and Daryl wanted to keep looking for people. We did what I wanted... and we wound up in a trap set by those people, and I lost my pack. They must've followed our tracks. Those people who attacked us... they found their way back because of me."

Josie watched as Deanna walked away before she looked back at Rick, who continued to talk. "There'll be more to talk about," then he looked at Josie. "Come on."

It was now night, Josie sat in a rocking chair on the porch to clear her head. She still heard the growls outside of the walls and she sighed, running her hand through her hair. The brunette's gaze lifted, landing on the names they'd lost during the attack written on the wall.

Her eyes gazed over every name, stopping on the last one. Glenn. There was no way he was dead, he couldn't be. Josie saw Maggie and Aaron standing by the wall, beginning to clean off Nicholas and Glenn's names.

The brunette smiled to herself before she heard the front door open, so she looked over and saw Parker walking out.

      "Hey," Parker greeted.

      "Hey, sweetie," Josie replied.

Parker shut the door behind her, walking over and sitting in the chair next to her mother's. The young blonde looked at the wall, her eyes landing on Glenn's name.

Parker sighed. "Do you really think Uncle Glenn's dead?"

"No," Josie replied. "He wouldn't leave us without saying goodbye."

Parker nodded and smiled slightly. "He better not."

The following day, Josie stood near the gates and waited for... well, anything really. A sign that Daryl, Glenn, Abraham, or Sasha were out there. The brunette made her way over to the watchtower and looked up, seeing Maggie standing there. She had been up there since that morning.

"Hey, Maggie?" Josie shouted for her friend. "Why don't you come on down? I'll take over for a while."

      "I'm all right," Maggie replied.

Josie sighed and walked away, not even putting up a fight. The brunette and her daughter were with Carl and Enid and they talked for a while as Rick and Tobin walked up to them.

Tobin went to speak, but got cut off with a banging sound. All of them looked over and saw Spencer trying to make his way over the wall as he slid across on a wire. Tobin, Rick, and Josie all quickly climbed up one of the posts.

"Spencer!" Josie shouted. "Get back here!"

The other end of the wire ended up snapping, cussing Spencer to fall down into the horde. Josie gasped, pulling out her gun and began shooting at the walkers as Tara did the same on her post.

Rick lowered a rope as Spencer ran over, grabbing into it. Tobin and Rick worked together to pull him up as Josie continued to shoot at the walkers. As soon as he made it back up, Spencer laid back against the post, breathing heavily.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Josie snapped, glaring down at him.

"Damn it," Spencer sighed. "I lost a shoe."

"Good Lord," Josie muttered as she rolled her eyes.

A while later, Josie stood with Rick and Tobin as they worked on the wall. Suddenly, the brunette's eyes landed on something on the horizon, they looked almost like balloons.

"Rick..." Josie said as Rick followed her gaze.

Maggie ran up to the both of them. "It's Glenn. It has to be him."

Josie smiled and nodded as she looked at Rick, who nodded back. Just then, the clock tower began to creak. Josie's smile dropped as the tower fell over and right onto the wall, causing it to collapse.

Debris formed as the walls fell and Josie felt Rick's hand on her arm, pulling her back. The brunette gasped as she heard the walkers coming through the hole the tower had made.

Rick and Josie began to run, quickly helping  Deanna to her feet. Soon enough, Michonne, Carl, Parker, Gabriel, and Ron all joined them as they ran. They all soon got surrounded, cornered on all sides.

"Shit," Josie muttered as she moved closer to Rick and her children.

Gunshots suddenly went off and some of the walkers fell to the ground, revealing Jessie. "Come on, I have Judith!"

Michonne quickly took the lead and led them into the house and once everyone was inside, Josie slammed the door shut behind them.
