Proposal

Killian's pov

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.

It was Matteo.

"What do you want?"I ask my voice horse due to the lack of sleep.

"Well good morning to you too anyways don't forget today is the day and I want you to be there and don't course any unwanted attention"he muttered excitedly but with a Stern tone to show his seriousness......he was not joking.

"You woke me up just for that......gosh I hate you"I said clear irritation in my tone.

"I love you too"He just chuckled and hung up.

I mumble a line of cuss words under my breath 'fuck' I was still tired but I have to wake up.

I took a shower then got dressed in the dusty pink suit I got yesterday and grab my phone then head out I don't normally eat breakfast so I just took a cup of coffee that the maids made for me and head to my car.

I arrived there fashionably late and had many eyes on me, I didn't mind because I knew that they where looking at me because they feared me,wanted me or hated me.

What can I say I'm very famous in both the underworld and this world.

I spot Matteo at the bar talking to some men. The men quickly left when they saw me approaching which made Matteo to frown and look In the direction I was coming from.

He saw me and he smile I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him...gosh I 'hate' him.

"Hey man you finally came even though you missed half of it but at least your here meaning I can go do this" he grinned happily as he shows me the engagement ring in his hand

The ring was a masterpiece. A brilliant round diamond, its facets glinting in the light, sat atop a slender gold band. The diamond's clarity and cut seemed almost otherworldly, as if it had been plucked from the stars. Delicate engravings adorned the band, a subtle yet elegant touch. The ring's simplicity belied its sophistication, exuding a timeless elegance that seemed to whisper "forever."

"You sure are serious about this girl huh?"I asked him seeing him look at the ring in admiration and hope.

Hope for 'forever' with the one he loved. I took wanted that for him.

But what about me?I know that the life of a don is a lonely one - always looking over your shoulder, never staying in one place for too long. But my friend had found a way to balance the books, to have both love and power.

I also wanted that I longed for it but was love really for me?

I push away that thought and pat Matteo's shoulder as he stood up and heads to her soon to be queen.

I turn to the bartender and order three shorts of whiskey I just needed to get drunk to escape from my thoughts.

As I was busy downing my drink I feel a presence next to me and I turn to my side only to meet my mystery girl.

She feels my stare and turn to face me only for our knees to brush. I felt a jolt of electricity run up from my knee to my whole body . SHE WAS STUNNING.

I hear her heartbeat start to increase and the expression that she gave me told me that she remembered our little encounter yesterday.

Estelle's pov

I was lost in my thoughts when the sounds of screaming/squealing snapped me out of the trance.

In the middle of the room was my sister's boyfriend who was on one knee hold a ring in his hands.

Was he proposing to my sister?

I feel the excitement rush through my body that I didn't even realize that I just screamed at my sister "SAY YES ALREADY POOR MAN'S BEEN ON THE FLOOR ALL-DAY!"

People busted out with laughter and my sister finally said yes. As they kissed I couldn't help my smile the biggest smile of my life. Sure I wasn't the one getting the ring but I was happy for the person who was she seemed happy and that made me happy.

I totally forgot about the man next to me. I down my drink and made to stand up only to be hit by a wave of alcohol back to the ground. I staggered and some big arms held my waist steadily.

I turned back to thank the man and he helped me back to my seat.

"Tha....thanks"I giggled the alcohol kicking in I was wasted.

"Mmm...why did you drink so much?"his husky voice sent shivers down my spine.

I just look at him and giggle he was handsome I'm not gonna lie.

"Can't you talk? I don't like repeating myself!" he said more sternly he was getting irritated.

"Don't shout at me.....and I...I don't know you.... stranger danger"I stuttered he was really imitating.

"I'm Killian Marchetti and you are?"

"I'm Estelle Alo.... No.... I'm Estelle West" I said quickly realizing I almost gave a stranger my middle name.

"Well Estelle I asked you a question" my name coming out his mouth was like .........wow I have no words to describe it.

"Uhh I just wanted to get drunk"

"I see..."he paused for a second before speaking again. "Can you walk?"

I stand up and the moment my feet touched the ground I was dizzy and lightheaded then I did the unexpected I threw up on Killian.

The crowd gasp and Rosie,Aiden and her boyfriend. Gawd I needed to find out his name. Came running to me and shocked was an understatement compared to the expressions on their faces they where petrified.

Rosie's boyfriend past me and headed straight to Killian,do they know each other?

I see Rosie come up to me and inspect me as she was inspecting me I feel like throwing up again and I do just that when Killian makes to stand up I even threw up on his perfect face.

Gasps and "let's get you cleaned up"where the last thing I heard before passing out.
