You're in a relationship with your boyfriend, who is very controlling and possessive of you. He doesn't let you go out without his permission and always criticises your every action.
You've tried to leave him in the past, but he'd just get angry and violent, so you decided it was safer and easier just to stay with him.The Slytherin boys are all aware that you're in a relationship but you've never told them about how badly your boyfriend treats you, despite them repeatedly letting you know they don't like bf/n. You didn't want to risk anyone dying.
It's the weekend and you don't have any classes. You're sat in your dorm reading, when your boyfriend barges through the door.
"I've got quidditch practice all day, but I expect you to be here when I'm finished. No funny business." He demands sharply, before turning and storming back out your dorm before you even have a chance to reply.
You wait for a few minutes, contemplating silently, before making up your mind. If he's busy the whole day, he won't notice if you go out and run some errands. What he doesn't know won't hurt him, right?
You quickly change into a more appropriate outfit for going out, before leaving your dorm, walking out through the common room. As you enter the common room, you see all the slytherin boys hanging out on the sofas together. They immediately go silent when they see you, smiling at you warmly.
"Where are you off to, princess?" Enzo asks, looking at you curiously.
"I thought I might take a trip to Hogsmeade to run some errands." You tell them, smiling back.
"Mind if we tag along?" Mattheo asks, and you shoot him a puzzled look.
"I thought you guys would all have quidditch practice?" You ask and they look at you blankly in return.
"What made you think that?" Blaise replies, raising an eyebrow quizzically.
"Oh. Bf/n said he was busy all day at quidditch practice." You say, frowning slightly.
"Well there's no quidditch practice on today love." Draco tells you, and all the boys frown thoughtfully.
"I'll never understand why you don't dump his ass. He's probably cheating on you." Theo says and you sigh softly, looking at him sadly.
"You don't understand. It's not as easy to dump him as you'd think." You sigh out and their expressions immediately switch to ones of worry.
"Does he hurt you?" Tom asks, his voice low, his eyes dark.
"No." You quickly lie, smiling positively at them. "He's not as bad as you think. It's just complicated." You say, before shaking your head. "Should we get going then if you guys wanna join me?" You ask, effectively changing the subject, as all the boys nod and stand up, joining you as you walk out of the common room and down the halls.
The seven of you avidly talk as you make your way to the village. When you eventually get there, you decide to split up in groups as everyone has different places they want to go to.
You end up walking around with Theo and Mattheo, stopping in to Honeydukes to get some sweet treats, upon Theo's request. The three of you dawdle for a while, trying to decide what to get, before coming to your decisions and going to the counter to pay for your chosen sweetments.
You exit the shop, before beginning to make your way through the village to the Three Broomsticks, where you agreed to meet the others.
"You never hang out with us anymore." Theo randomly points out while you're walking.
"Don't I?" You ask absentmindedly.
"No. You always say you're too busy but never say what you're doing instead." Theo reminds you and you let out a resignated sigh.
