Crow was walking through the streets of the Last City, watching as the people live their life. Overjoyed that the Darkness has been defeated and the Witness doesn't represent a problem anymore. But he knows, they might have won the battle, but not the war, there is still a lot to do. There are a lot more dangers out there that need to be addressed. As he is walking through the streets he spots the one of many town bazaars so he decides to check out what they have. He is thinking of buying a couple things that would liven up the H.E.L.M. and his home. But as he walks past the many market stalls he hears a commotion up ahead. He sees a large group of people gathered, chatting and looking at something so he decides to check it out. He pushes past the people to get closer to the source of this commotion.

As he finally gets to the clearing he sees a naked Exo. It's bare body just standing there, not caring about the people. It seems to be inspecting the pottery and silk, carefully and thoroughly. He notices a strange growth, or modification on the back of it's head. It has a familiar shape to it, but he can't remember where he saw it. He walks up to the Exo, to see if they might need help, maybe they are a new guardian who is just confused as to what is going on. He puts a hand on the Exo's shoulder.

Crow: Hey friend, do you need help?

As the Exo turns around he looks at him without a single expression, just a deadpan look. As if it is just a machine and not a normal Exo. It doesn't speak, just looks at him.

Crow: You don't speak do you? Come after me, let me get you some clothes and I'll take you to the Vanguard.

As Crow grabs the Exo's arm it pulls away and starts running in the direction of some alley, so he follows after him. Running through the many streets and alleyways, attracting a lot of attention. Crow kept yelling at the Exo to stop but it just kept running. It didn't have any intention to stop. They ran past many places until they run into the sewers, and while hesitating Crow finally decides to follow after it, to see where it could be going. This hesitation made him loose track of the Exo so he wanders around the tunnels, hoping to find him and bring him back to the Vanguard. He is probably just terrified, no memory, no anything.

After an hour of exploring he comes up to one of the large reservoirs meant for holding tones of water, but now it is empty. He sees the Exo, but what terrifies him is that he is standing next to a bunch of Vex, one that he had never seen before. It was quadrupedal, like a dog, but bigger. But none of them are shooting at each other, instead, they are acting as they know each other. There had never been collaborations with the Vex, so what the hell is going on. Crow watches from the shadow, to see if anything happens.

Glint: I have never seen Vex working with anyone. And I have never seen that kind of Vex.

Crow: Could it be a new unit? But it doesn't look all that mechanical, it acts more doglike, biological. It's movements are fluid, as if it were a normal dog.

They watch, their eyes darting between the Exo and the dog like Vex. The dog like acts a lot like a normal dog would, restless, it's tail wagging and constantly walking around. Suddenly the Vex turn their attentions to Crow, they have been spotted. But instead of shooting back at them, which Crow was ready for they just teleport away. Leaving Crow and Glint confused more than ever. What did they just witness? They are definitely going to have to report this to the Vanguard as soon as possible. Vex, in the Last City, maybe a couple of traitors amongst their ranks, the strange new unit and their behavior. There is so much to report.

At the Tower

Osiris was standing in front of a screen, his arms crossed, his posture stiff and his eyes constantly looking over the readings they are getting. Behind him is Ikora and Saint-14, who haven't spoken a word, just looking at the screen. They are monitoring the Vex, and they are getting really weird behaviors in their network. While the Vex on Nessus are acting strange, thanks to Maya Sundaresh, these are not them. There seems to be another turmoil in the collective, a part of it is fighting against itself. Constantly fighting against one another. But they can't figure out what is going on, why is the collective fighting against itself.
