-Marko's P.O.V-

"Hey Marko!" Paul announced my return, patting me on the back.

"And where did you go?" David questioned. I turned and saw him staring directly at me with a blank expression.

"Out" I shrugged.

"With who?" David leaned forward. The side of his mouth rose a little. These guys knew everything. I raised my hand to my lips and began chewing at my nail.

"Marko got laid!" Paul screamed. He began hollering and congratulating me. I rolled my eyes at his childish behaviour and took a seat.

"I didn't get laid Paul" I corrected. Snicker slightly.

"But you were with a girl?" Dwayne asked.

"I was" I answered.

"What's her name?" Paul curiously asked, diving to take a seat next to me.

"Naomi" I told them.

"What is she like?" Paul shot another question. He could be such a girl sometimes.

"She's cool" There's a reason I had to be so blunt about her.

"Do you like her Marko?" David started to interrogate me.

"Like I said, she's cool" I answered, drumming my hands on the couch.

I did line Naomi, she was a fascinating little thing. There was something about her, I felt instantly connected to her when we bumped into each other. She has the most adorable laugh. But I wouldn't tell the guys that, I didn't want them running this for me. Around them, I couldn't let on that I like her. Besides, I know what would come with it. There were consequences to liking humans.

"When are you next seeing her?" Dwayne asked. I let out a lighthearted laugh. I couldn't believe this.

"Tomorrow I think" There eyes never left me.

"I want to meet her" Paul blurted out. Not a chance!

"Maybe another time" I suggested and turned to retreat to our sleeping area.

"No!" David's voice made me freeze. "We will meet her tomorrow" I opened my mouth to protest but knew better. I just hung my heard. My nerves began to grow.

-Naomi's P.O.V-

I felt as though the day was dragging. On the bright side, Madison's boss hired me. No interview process, nothing. Only condition, I had to start immediately. I thanked Maddie countless times through out the day. At least I wouldn't be stuck at home bored out of my mind. Instead, I will be working with, someone who I consider my best friend, in this weird town. The uniform was cute too. A black skirt that came just above the knee and a white tank top with the diners name across the chest. Casual, the way I liked things.

"That will be $25 and 15 cents" I informed the elderly woman who came to pay her bill. My boss said we had to take turns on the till. I was on tonight. Madison showed me the ropes and I managed to get the hang of things pretty quickly. I frowned watching the woman frantically search through her purse.

"I only have $20" She sadly admitted. I saw the embarrassment on her face. I looked back over my shoulder, everyone was in the kitchen. I bit my bottom lip and turned back to face her.

"Just give me the 20, I'll cover the rest but don't tell anyone" I told her with a giggle.

"Thank you so much!" She handed me the 20. "Bless you" I watched her walk over to what I presumed to be her husband.

I sighed and leaned back against the counter, glancing up at the clock. 10 already. I didn't even notice it had gotten dark outside. I was distracted from my thoughts when the bell went off, signalling someone's arrival. I straightened myself and turned around. Marko! And three others, they must've been his brothers the told me about. I began to panic as I watched them head to a booth and check out the menus. Surely he would think low of me if he saw me working here. Just a poxy little diner waitress. I let out a little squeak and ducked down. 'Yep, like that's going to help'
