V has her eyes open, widened, looking at her side, directly at her loved one. N, still his beautiful self, shining with as much brightness as he ever had, but with a somber face, the happiness being non-present. Just an emotionless face, looking back at her, unaware of the effect of his words. She couldn't believe, couldn't accept what he told her. After saving herself and him from that cop, being separated from him for a whole day, she finally reunited with him, only to hear that. She couldn't accept it.
"N, please... Stop joking around. That isn't funny" V said, tears threatening to leave her eyes and her voice trembling. Extending her hand to her sunshine, hoping to touch the untold truth of a cruel joke.
"I'm sorry... V, but this isn't a joke. It is true" N responded nonchalantly, his eyes still gazing the girl on his side.
Before any of the two could continue their conversation, the door opened and two medics entered. A skinny, yet good shaped, woman, just a little higher then N; wearing a white jacket with a light orange shirt and jeans pants with black boots; her hair being red and tied in a big ponytail. On her side a tall and large man, considerably higher then the woman; he wore a black jacket with a dark blue shirt and black pants with boots similar to the other medic; his hair was hidden underneath a cowboy hat that covered his face, making the man seem like a scary monster from a fairy tail. The woman was looking at a clipboard in her hands, before she stepped foward.
"So you two are N Elliot and V, correct?" She asked, looking at the two with a raised eyebrown. They slowly nodded "Weird names to give to children" She whispered "So, my name is Alice and this is Beau" She introduced herself and the man on her side "And we'll be the ones to be taking care of you two for your recuperation" She placed a hand on her waist and walked to the gap in between their beds "V has problem moving her left side due to the damage it suffered in the explosion. While N has suffered memory loss due to a debry hitting his his head and causing a concussion to happen"
So it was true. V didn't want to believe it, but how could she. N would never joke with something like that and the results didn't lie. He trully had forgotten her. Everything they passed together. All the memories, smiles, looks. Everything went away because a russian whore decided to be emotional like a bitch. She lost everything cause of a stupid little thing like that.
"We will be starting your recuperation tomorrow" Alice finished saying.
"Tomorrow?" N asked.
"Yeah. Although starting today would shorten the time of recuperation, it's better to leave today for us to know each other a little better and for you two to prepare yourselves for tomorrow" Alice explained, taking the desk lamp from the bedside table in the middle of the two beds and sitting in it. Her body features being accentuated by the tightness of her white jacket. The action took N's attention who looked away with a little blush.
V noticed this and immediately understood what it was. Was this nurse trying to seduce him? They bearly know each other, this is the first time she's seeing him, but of course she would fall for him. N's perfect and attracts anyone with a just a glance at his perfectness. Of course she'd fall for him too, but she can't let her. There's only one who deserves N's greatness and it's hers. It was her who he devoted his time. It was her who first noticed his beauty. She was the only one that deserved his presence. If this bimbo thinks she can come in and take her place... She can't allow it.
"So, what can you two tell me about yourselves" The female doctor asked.
"Well" N started saying, doubt and skepticism in his voice "My name is N Elliot and I'm the oldest son of the Elliot family. My mom is Tessa and I have a little sister, Cyn. My father died before my little sister could reach a full year, but I can't remember how... Anyway, that's about what I remember, with only some other memories in between. Sorry I couldn't tell you much" He finished with a smile in his face, making even Alice shine a light grin.
