By now it was clear June had arrived too late, she had seen even this absurd probability that he would leave the new arrival vanish, but that hadn't been the case..

She had set her mind on something that in her opinion could work, but which in reality had only turned into a death trap for herself..

She had caused that feeling to turn into hatred and that hatred into possession, it wasn't like her and yet it had happened..
He had told her clearly that Arianna was now in his life and she alone and that he would never leave her..
He also told her he saw a future with this girl..

He had offered her his friendship again, but it wasn't enough for her, he had promised her to be there, but she hadn't believed him and hence the definitive breakup..
He told her that if she wasn't happy with all of this, she could leave..

Leaving such an important job, due to an unrequited feeling, was not possible and yet it was what he had asked her..
This was not how he had imagined his life, but only now did he realize how wrong he had been in that story..

But now she could no longer make up for it, she had seen the disappointment in the eyes of that boy who had been her friend, who would have ever made the promise to be there despite having given him her friendship?

Here is no one but him, and it was no coincidence that everyone defined Jon as a man of other times...
In fact, his loyalty went far beyond any stereotype created on earth and on the basis of who knows what scientific law...

It came like lightning and didn't go away from there, it changed your life and you didn't even notice it..
And that was what had happened to June, yet that same person who had entrusted her with his friendship and changed her life, was gone, thanks to jealousy..

How had he achieved all this?
He didn't know it and yet he felt something, an eminent sense of guilt of someone who knew he had lost everything..
But not something material, but something unquantifiable, that is, the friendship of someone important...

Yes, because Jon was important to June, his friendship was, but now it was all over due to his whim..
She hadn't been quick to speak and this had consumed her, she hadn't thought about Jon and this had made her selfish to the point of not even thinking...

Like lightning it had entered her life and like lightning it had finished showing her actual beauty..
That he was a light in everyone's life was obvious, but that he was the lighthouse in that June was unimaginably concrete..

But now it wasn't anymore, she would no longer see that light, she would no longer receive advice from which person and she would never feel like a friend again..
Just on a whim that he could have avoided, but he didn't, or rather he hadn't done it..

Chantal had told him every day that it would end like this, yet he hadn't listened to her and now the consequence was this...
He hadn't listened to her and was only now wondering why he hadn't..
He hadn't listened to her and now he cursed himself in silence with the knowledge that nothing would ever be the same again..

It wasn't right, but it had happened, it wasn't right, but he couldn't do anything about it anymore..
And she looked at him in silence those times she passed in front of the door of that office, she looked at him but didn't say a word..

He wanted to talk to him, but he didn't have the courage, he had tried to overcome people, and now he had to see that silence make room in what was once an apparently solid friendship..

In fact it was solid and now it had been crumbled like sea water that crumbles sand castles..
Her selfishness had led her to this, and now she didn't know how to get out of it..

Just as lightning could split an oak tree out of nowhere and impetuously, so too that sense of selfishness and possessiveness had split that friendship as solid as an oak tree...
